But I want a local copy on my phone too and I should not have to go online to view a video or a photo. It's rubbish not having an sd card slot. The latest flagship models from Samsung have it so why do OnePlus and Xiaomi have to be different?

For those who have an SD card fetish; When will you decide getting out of your caves and start making use of technology? Why do the cloud services exist? Why do they making faster storage chips and USB transfer rates? Why do they boast of their UFS technologies since the storage chips are so prone to failure??? You just can't blame the whole technology because of one single scrap that is occurred in the production. It's 2019 guys.

I... moreThe issue my man is that internal memory are prone to failure, imagine you can't access anymore your 256gb for whatever reason that internal memory fails, it happened to me before and I only got safe because I had my MicroSD slot and pulled the SD card and inserted into a new phone. The old just gone to garbage cause the memory corrupted and smartphone doesn't even start, only bootlooped.

I personally believe that, if this phone were to compete with other phones at this $300-$400 category, then I think they should add these three things:
1) IR blaster
2) SD card slot (most phones at this price have one)
3)Stereo speakers (cause I heard that the K20 series doesn't have one)
These are things that I just feel that should have been added to the phone to really separate it from the competition and make it special. But, even if we go to the forums and beg them to add these afore mentioned things (especially 2), which made a lot of people angry) I wouldn't mind using this phone without them. I really love the K20 Pro and I can't wait for the global release. I just thought that the phone would be better with them. Otherwise, I okay with it.

Tribes, 04 Jun 2019Read my previous posts and you'll know why.Same bro. Even though you just wanna save photos or videos on an sd card, you can just transfer it using an otg for sd card. It is indirectly of course where it takes a bit of time of transferring, but this is what you get for the price. Having an sd card feature is good and all with the extra storage, but it slows your phone's battery and processor power trying to load it, read and write, it takes some toll. So, thats where google drive comes in.
