It allowed a pure full display premium and a less intr... moreIndustry (on the Android side at least) is already set up to perfect the under the screen front facing camera, so this sort of mechanism is obsolete and honestly, has more drawbacks than it fixes. It takes so much space. Especially if you do not particularly care about the front camera and perhaps just want it there in case you do a video call.

I wish pop-up camera was adopted again. It allowed a pure full display premium and a less intrusive experience. It's pair with great camera lenses and an audio jack! Xiaomi or any other brands, release an updated phone like this...

Still holds fast and responsive. Although with rare lags.
Fingerprint reader far from ideal, but I added the same finger 3 times and it solved the problem.

The K40 Pro+ doesn't have a headphone jack, telephoto camera, and OIS. It also has smaller battery than this phone and the overheating SD 888 chipset. Sorry, but this phone is still a much better buy than any Redmi K40 models.

I own this phone, bought from China for really cheap, 8GB, 256GB ROM version. I flashed it to Poco F2 Global rom and it still detects the model as Redmi K30 Pro Zoom. Really great for the price and performs well, takes great photos too. I especially love the notchless screen. The only thing I wish it had is stereo speakers.

I checked it's 30k again for the 8GB ram + 128GB storage. Better buy the K40 Pro+ it's 27k pesos now. Check the specs, it's much better than K30 pro zoom ed.

They will never add bands so this phone doesn't ruined the other phones from xiaomi in globally

My curren... moreThis Redmi phone will only remain as a China-only model, so you have to import one. You also have to consider the shipping cost to your country. So really, I would think of getting the OnePlus despite lacking a headphone jack. But between the 8 and the 7T Pro, the latter has a much more well-rounded camera hardware. Do bear in mind that the 7T Pro is powered by a two-year-old Snapdragon 855+ chipset whereas the 8 (and also the 8T) is powered by the same chipset as this Redmi phone.
