AnonD-863866, 24 Aug 2020Chipset issues It would have been better if Snapdragon Chipset to use it yes, go for 60 fps for battery life... its cool to have 120 refresh rate but when it will drain the battery fast.. 120 refresh rate are for scrolling only.. most of the games are still 60fps... just imagine by scrolling up annd down will double the battery drain...

Anonymous, 25 Aug 2020The m30s that I bought is better than this phone nooo.. its not good... playing pubg for 20 mins the phone will overheat.. even thou it has cooling system... playing pubg for 1 hour its like having a 20 million suns in your phone.. and the frame rate will drop.. i suggest buy the poco f2 pro the snapdragon 865

AnonD-804996, 27 Aug 2020Dimensity+ chipset. It's basically as fast as Snapdragon 865. Or at least as Snapdragon 855+.dimensity + chipset will make your phone into a stove... there are reasons why MTK cant beat the snapdragon chipset..

Anonymous, 16 Sep 2020I don't think that this phone is a realme x7 killer, even it it has better cameras, the r... morek30 ultra is a verry good device from design to specs.. when it comes to pros on this device 120 refresh rate, amoled screen, dual speaker, a 512GB thats a lot of space but the downside of this phone is the chipset... dimensity 1000+ is so bad that the phone will overheat.. yeah the k30 ultra has overheating issue and its sucks.. playing pubg for 20 mins the phone will heat. you have 512GB internal storage but u cant fully enjoy it because the phone will overheat. and dont forget its a china rom you cant use 3rd party launcher.. i'll say k30 pro or poco f2 pro is the best phone to buy..

ae, 18 Sep 2020People really be hyping about the 120Hz selling point of K30U when most games doesn't eve... more120hz can only experience when you actually own one...yes some game don't support BUT some game will play at 60 fps only if you have a 120hz screen....even with a 90hz screen you still play at 30 fps....I can't explain it to you until you experience it for yourself.

I don't think that this phone is a realme x7 killer, even it it has better cameras, the realme x7 comes with 65W fast charging and with the same battery. The battery capacity on this phone could be also better, i hope that xiaomi make very similar phone to this with better specs.

I seriously DOUBT that. If people didn't care about spec or anything, and only care for user experience they would go for Samsung or Apple. Xiaomi made the k30 pro for spec-savvy people, but sadly that screen is terrible choice, so i have no idea what are they are doing with their decision on the k30 pro

Im requoting your own quote that you said literally said K30 pro is a "better buy" due to better chipset, but whats the point when you literally cant even use 100% power of the sd865 with only 60hz screen, lmao
which is why the k30 pro is a terrible choice
redmi k30 ultra has a somehwat slower SoC but at LEAST it can use most of its performance because of the 120hz screen, so its a better buy compared to the k30 pro lol
