Xiaomi Redmi K30S accidentally confirmed to be a rebranded Mi 10T

Xiaomi Redmi Android

Xiaomi released the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro flagships in the last days of September, bringing yet another unusual camera design to the scene. Now it looks like the Redmi family will also get its own serving of it.

China Mobile posted a photo of a Xiaomi Mi 10T phone on Weibo, asking its followers what do they think of the Redmi K30S. The post was later deleted, but nothing really disappears from the internet since people managed to screenshot the accidental leak.

China Mobile's blunder
China Mobile's blunder

It isn’t a surprise that Xiaomi is trying to relaunch a Mi phone under its Redmi branch. The exact same thing happened with the Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro that were sold at some markets respectively as Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro.

Due to the poor quality of the screenshot we can’t make up whether it is an image of the vanilla Mi 10T with a 64 MP main shooter or the Pro variant. Either way, we’re looking at a 6.67” LCD with FullHD+ resolution, big 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and MIUI 12 out of the box.

We expect the pricing of the Redmi K30S to remain in the ballpark of €550 with the price slightly adjusted for every market’s specifics.

Because it's not branded as gaming phone. You need gaming device? Go for black shark line up or nubia
