I just bought my redmi note a weeks ago, and it keep on disconnect from the internet either from wifi or data. Its quite frustrating when i was surfing the internet. Does anyone experiencing it? And any solution? Really need help here

Nihar, 19 Sep 2014If people are using this phone after long time it becomes hot. Are you referring to the Redmi Note? I use mine for hours non-stop surfing the net and it doesn't get hot.

Did another round of AnTuTu Benchmark v5.1 test on my Redmi Note and this time the score was even higher = 32,206!

my redmi note touch screen was not function sometimes and always vibrate when i playing game..even i m closing the sound

If I purchase this phone in China, can I use this in indonesia (with indonesia SIM Card)? Or it needed to be unlocked before using in Indonesia. Thanks :)

Tested my Redmi Note using AnTuTu Benchmark v5.1 and it scored 30,377. Not bad!

Roni, 19 Sep 2014I have already bought Redmi 1s, gusto mo bilhan kita? The Redmi Note is different from the Redmi 1s, the most obvious difference being the Note's screen size which is a huge 5.5" while the 1s is only 4.7". This puts the Note in the "phablet" category (which starts at 5" and above).

Can someone help me? My prob is i cant ROOT my xiaomi redmi note.i buy it from original malaysia.i install antutu n it say NO ROOT ACCESS.all specs are same.antutu score is 27000.If anyone can help.THANK YOU

overheating, that is a sure case with mtk; and idont understand what is the fuss about Xiaomi Mi 1S - It uses a outdated chipset. Or is it Xiaomi Hongmi 1S

That is the $64,000 dollar question, when will the Redmi Note be available officially in the local market. I called up the Xiaomi office here (because I want a spare battery for future use) and they are as clueless as we all are as to when it will land on the shores.

Of course all of us have different standards and that's just my personal assessment. I recall that my son was also impressed by the screen (and I can tell you he has high standards) the first time he laid his hands on the Note and that speaks volumes by itself. With regards to phone/battery heating up, no problem to me even if my Note is connected to the internet 24/7 (DSL at home and portable WiFi outside). The time when heating became noticeable is on the road when using the Waze talking road/guide/map which is GPS intensive but they heat-buildup is still within normal bounds and not excessive, at least that's the way I perceive it; I guess having the original Xiaomi leather flip-up case contributes to this perception but overall I would say heat is well controlled and normal /acceptable.

In fact this phone is for my son who is quite particular about his phone being really good.

Forgetting the price is the display still very good even if it isnt excellent
Also does the phone / battery
get heated up.
