Swarup, 13 Jan 2015Using for more than a week now and I found MI Note 4G a very Good Phone. Only lacks in pedigre... morei am unable to make skype calls (video or voice calls both ) why ? anyone please help me about this...? i am using redmi note 4g and on the other side no problem with redmi 1s skype calling :(

vinod, 14 Jan 2015pls tell me friends how we save contact in phone memory, so we run whatsapp in radmi note 3gIf you want to get contacts from another phone, then you need to backup the contacts as a vcf file. Then get this file transferred to Redmi Note, open contacts, press SETTINGS [ left button on bottom ] and select Import and choose the vcf file.
Whatsapp will choose only mobile numbers from your contact list. You can open whatsapp and click on contacts on top to open all the contacts in the list and go from there

Use a new micro SD card and see if the problem goes away

I was using Gionee G3 and was able to connect with SIM-1 to 3G & 2G and with SIM-2 to 2G without any issue.
I moved to RedMi Note 3G Dual SIM and transferred my two SIMs to it from my Gionee.
I found Redmi Note allows data connection only on SIM-1. SIM-2 doesnot allow any data connection.
Other users of Redmi Note 3G have the same issue, that is data connection is only allowed on SIM-1 ???
The other issue is non availability of USB driver for this phone for connecting to my Laptop. It is a big problem sinceI like to keep backups of all my SMS, Contacts and Pictures on my Laptop. Since Redmi Note 3G is not allowing USB connection, I am forced to open the phone, remove the micro SD card and read from it to do any backups on my laptop.
If someone has found the USB driver please let us have the link to download it
Or is it something to do with setting up to get data connection of 2G on SIM-2.

M returning mine cos it came without SECURITY and TOOLS icon(shld hv been pre installed). Hard time using Google play store. Frequent error even after clearing caches. Factory reset don't help .list goes on...

16 hours with 3g data on
on 2g enjy the batery life for 2 days

Not as fast as I imagined (sometimes get lag).
... morego in to options => battery=> cpu usage limit=> make it off it wont lag anymore than....hope it works
