MI has released an update to get access to SD card. Update your phone with that. Its not OTA update, you have to download a 360mb zip file and update it. Instructions availabel in MiUi portal. just google it.

I bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note a week ago. I put a screen protector over it and I had this problem "Don't cover the orange area of the screen. To turn this feature off ,press the back and volume up buttons simultaneously." I had removed the screen protector, but the problem still persists. Is there anyway to solve this?

Hi friends..Today I received my Redmi Note and it looks good. But the phone doesn't have the option of default storage to External Sd Card..Anyone have the solutions. And what are the benefit oey my apps lock is not working even i cant save the number in wattsapp with thier name. U know pic quality is also bakwaas so pls sort out my problmf rooting the device and how to root it???

i received the redmi note on 12 dec. the specs and functionality are good. except that i am unable to type the keys "t", "f" and "c" in messages or for any search or anywhere. these keys work when in landscape mode but not in portrait mode. please suggest .

Hey guys... don't try to buy these Chinese phones.. it's battery backup is worst as it can... you have to charge it trice in a day if you're a Android addict.
Don't buy. Don't regret.
