facts about this phone is according to its specification its worth of buying.
Camera not soo good, front camera is good
Screen clearity super
touch is good.
morever it comes with MIUI so no need to worry whether your in kitkat or jelly bean.

Received my Redmi note yesterday.
On the first experience looks good, nice performance at just 9k. As my last phone was just 3.5inch this 5.5inch looks huge while using.
It has removable 3100 battery and used regular sim. I have not encountered any issue till now.

Hello Redmi note or xioami note or mi note buyers, don't buy this phone. it is not worth for money. Entire quality is very bad.

I am from Kerala, India. I have a plan to buy this mobile.I would like to know whether it is possible to read/write MALAYALAM(language of Kerala) and other INDIAN FONTS in Face book and Whatsapp while using this mobile. I have Samsung & Sony mobiles and in these mobile I can read and write MALAYALAM and many other INDIAN fonts but it is NOT POSSIBLE with my ALACTEL Idol X+. Kindly give me a reply at the earliest.

i'm using this phone for last 18 hours.
my first hand experiences:
[a 560 mb update fixed some of the issues]
after the update:
1. auto brightness is not working properly.
2. feels heavy. it will take some getting used to.
3. camera is ok ok for a 13 mega pixel camera.
4. device switched off twice automatically.
i think these are software bugs which can be fixed with software updates.
good points:
1. battery backup is good.
2. no lag whatsoever (nice gaming experience)
3. good amount of ram is free always (smooth multitasking)
4. screen looks great (also has gorilla glass)
i hope my experience sharing helps others

Received yesterday, its very good within price of flipkart. Both camera's, WiFi,GPRS,performance as well as look is gr8. But loudspeaker sound is little low. Battery is good compare to my old phone

Try go to settings>mobile network>network carrier n choose 3G version. Im using celcom 3G but it always slow. After check out it is using 2G network. I change it n it works damm good.

The phone is pretty big and good...
Nice confrontation at such a cheap price.
So the bad points about this phone are...
*bad camera - its 13mp camera just not working as it has no detailing in it. Images are suffering from soo much sound.
*decent sound- if u r looking for good sound/music experience than try some thing else because this phone has ok ok music quality in headphone/earphones/speakers audio is pretty low.
