GSMer, 22 Apr 2022Xiaomi calimed they will bring updates to always on display but nothing changed, it still stay... moreI always use Always On Display (AOD) on my RN10. Hence, by change one thing in Setting (IIRC, it's turn off the MiUI Optimization on Developer Option). No problem until now. It shows clock and notification when the screen is being locked. And the position of the clock etc on the screen always moved every few seconds, so I don't think there'd be any problem like OLED Burning etc.

My battery Redmi note 10 is drain so fast I don't what to do..should replace with new battery or not.. please someone help!!!

Xiaomi calimed they will bring updates to always on display but nothing changed, it still stays only for 10 seconds and no option to make it longer. If it's an "ALWAYS" on display, how it can be on for just 10 seconds? Freaky MIUI. Also, from developer options, the options, the option to turn off MIUI optimizations disappeared. Even turning off MIUI optimizations makes everything worse and mainly performance and icons shapes. MIUI is the worst android UI ever.

Before MIUI 13, even on latest MIUI 12.5.6, when opening an app that is restricted from using mobile data, a pop-up window says it can't use network when I tap allow it doesn't work until I access security app and select the app and release the restriction. MIUI always fix some bugs and introduce new others, I hate MIUI.

I just updated my phone to MIUI 13, I don't know about other things, but about appearance and interface, I didn't yet find any difference from MIUI 12.5 except the font maybe slightly changed, the battery icon, some animations when scrolling down, but nothing more. They promised about always on display enhancements but there is nothing, they talked about new control center style similar to IOS but it didn't happen, just small changes in notifications shape. Nothing impressive and nothing special. Can anybody tell if he finds any changes in the interface?

it's sooo waste of money
my front cam is not working anymore and there is no sound anymore it hasn't been 1 year or half a year it's soo waste this mui and all the system so very unsatisfying

Its crea... moreThere is no proximity sensor, most new android phones work on virtual proximity sensing which means it uses the gyroscope sensor to detect the motion of your hand and notices that you are putting it on your ear and it dims the screen. This type of virtual proximity is still primitive and not accurate on most android phones including samsung phones. I don't like it at all, traditional proximity sensors are much much better.

Wha... moreI am a user who only uses phone, whats app, viber and camera and some small apps. I don’t play games and I don’t use youtube and other streaming services so I may not be able to give you a detailed insight into all the changes if there are any. Basically, I use the dark mode according to the time schedule and all the applications I use are fine with the dark mode. Everything still runs smoothly and the battery lasts longer than on the 12.5 miui

Anonymous, 18 Apr 2022I suggest you go Custom Rom only when official support for the phone is ended aka no more upda... moreDon't worry, I'm experienced with Custom ROM on Android phones (and iOS devices Jailbreaking, since 2008). I used to almost always rely on/prefer Custom ROM for my Android phones before this, no matter whether the manufacturer is still supporting them or not... sometime switch back and forth from Custom ROM to Official manufacturer's ROM, etc.
In fact, this is my first time in using MIUI. My first time using Xiaomi phones :)

(Actually I am curious to try)..Maybe I should go straight into a good Custom ROM now?

I have redmi note 10. Why does raise to wake up only work for five days? After that I have to restart my cell phone to make it work again. So it was on miui 12.5 and the same is now on miui 13. Is there any fix for it?
