ayush, 20 Jan 2016hey bro how is the camera quality of the phone is very good or ok ?
one thing i wanna ask it ... moreRegarding camera, it would be very subjective i believe.. If you asked me, the cam is AWESOME! I dont know whether it is the best in compare to other phone in its class or not, but it works as i expected. Multiphase, autofocus, etc. It is as advertised.
Compare to redmi 3?
Redmi note 2 is above the level of redmi 3. Redmi note 2 has larger screen, better screen resolution, much more powerful processor. And bigger internal memory (prime version).
However, redmi 3 definitely has a better battery life. Just enough to support daily communication needs.

Chirkunda, 19 Jan 2016Should i buy this Redmi Note 2 ? or just wait for Redmi 3....help..I have Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime for over a month now and I strongly suggest you to buy Redmi Note 2 over Note 3. Here's why.
Both Note 2 and Note 3 are almost identical in regards to the CPU, GPU, Chipset, OS, screen size and resolution, primary and secondary cameras and so on. Note 3 however has 3 critical disadvantages in my opinion:
- It has NO additional card slot;
- It has NON-removable battery;
- It has fingerprint sensor (which may be considered an advantage by some).
Of course Note 3 has some advantages over the Note 2 - 3 GB RAM for the 32 GB version, somewhat bigger battery and sleek metal design.
So, if you're after versatility and usefulness and you don't mind the plastic design I suggest you Note 2. If you're more after modern design, look and feel may be Note 3 is your phone. In both cases though you just can't go wrong with any of this two models.
Chirkunda, 19 Jan 2016Should i buy this Redmi Note 2 ? or just wait for Redmi 3....help..I just read the spec of redmi 3,Hmm interesting..
Redmi 3 battery will lasts for longer than note 2. But iverall spec is under note , especially prime version.
If i may conclude, If you want practicality to supports your daily communication needs, go for redmi 3.
If you need more than that, such as gaming, multitasking or storing large files.. note 2 (especially prime version) will do it better.
How much is redmi 3 by the way?

I have received my phone last Saturday. Unfortunately, one of the SIM-Slots was broken, so I cannot use the phone as Dual SIM.
I am trying now to get a new phone or my money back. The Xiaomi quality is not good. I was waiting for my phone to arrive and then I get a faulty unit.
Watch out with Xiaomi quality!
Mukund, 18 Jan 2016Battery capacity is 3050 mah but , stand by time , 3G time and music time is less compare than... moreI personally didnt compare it with any other xiaomi device. But i wonder what other xiaomi device did you mean?
Because all i know redmi note 3 using 4000mah. No match for our redmi note 2.
Redmi 2 using smaller 4.7 screen, i believe it takes less power too.
Mi4i? I dont realy know about it. Have never compare it too.
But our 2.2ghz octacore definitely come with a price.
Battery capacity is 3050 mah but , stand by time , 3G time and music time is less compare than other xiaomi devices who have also battery capacity around 3100 mah .. | why ?

I am a happy and proud redmi note 2 user, as you can see my previous posts tend to defend what i believe regarding this phone, while trying to helps other.
Actually i have 1 big disapointment regarding the phone, that i have never seen this topic discussed here.
Its the sound quality..
Not the sq during a phonecall, its the sound quality when we play music or play games. Both through back speaker or 3.5mm jack. Its disappointing.
Flac files played, tried all my decent earphones and headphones. Tried everything on equalizer menu. Turned on mi sound enhancher. Tried everything on headphone types. Still i couldnt find a good sound quality as i expected. Sounds like too many software intervention (which i believe it is) to process the sound output. If you are expecting a good natural sound, i believe you'll be disappointed.
I have to admit, on sound area.. My good old samsung p3100 tab 2, or even my ancient blackberry 9700 is so much much better to listen. Just plug a decent earphone. Neutral equalizer. It sounds good.. This redmi note 2, doesnt.
Well of corse this could be very subjective.
