Fatdon, 18 Feb 2024Can i update the android version from 6.01 to 7.00?You can even upgrade it to Android 13 with custom ROMs. Im running my redmi note 3 on Android 13 Pixel Experience ROM. Stable Android 14 custom ROMs for the Redmi note 3 will be out soon.

Even pixel experience custom is also fantastic on this RN3 2GB.... I use it for my car navigation. Changed battery and charging circuit once - hope it goes along way more....

I have replaced the battery only once and also its charging port, however I was missing something and it was a custom rom since the stock cycle reached its limit years ago. Corvus OS android 10 has been the salvation for this phone that currently works better than on its first day, it is my secondary phone and I love it.

wilfredwiz, 01 Jul 2022Using from 2016 till date...battery drain issue in 2020 so changed in mi store and now drain ... morepoco x3 nfc or poco f5. Also you were scammed by them. If you want a battery replacement, buy a nohon battery and do it yourself.
