AnonD-576206, 10 Sep 2016Using MM on RN3 for a day and I've noticed these things -
1) Performance is same as lollipop... moreyes i notice that display is now brighter..not contast.
in 6.8.30 the fp scanner was good but 6.9.9 brings back the capture support.
i notice good improvement over lolipop even games are not causing the device heat. the temp are under 37 degree. did not face any yelloish camera issued described by u. the ui feel faster than 6.8.30. notice a bug which is payment security not working. volte is fixed now.
Using MM on RN3 for a day and I've noticed these things -
1) Performance is same as lollipop. No major difference
2) Fingerprint sensor is a bit inaccurate. Fails to read fingerprint sometimes and is a bit slow. Sometimes fingerprint doesn't directly take you to homescreen; first lights up display and lockscreen then takes you to the app (where you were before). This was not in Lollipop
3) Slight higher battery drain. Receiving 30-40 mins less SOT than before.
4) Camera takes yellowish photos in dark using flash. The yellow tint is more evident in MM than it was in lollipop.
5) Display contrast seems a little higher than before (Not sure, I may be wrong).
6) Jio VoLTE calls did'nt work directly after update. Needed a reboot to get working and after that no problem. 4G data and volte work without a problem.
7) Security patch rolled back to July patch in 6.9.9 while in 6.8.18 it was on September patch.
8) Google Now-on-tap and adoptable storage do not work. Xiaomi is the one to blame for not enabling this.
If you are on developer ROM you can update to see what's new but if you are stable ROM I would suggest you wait for stable MM release, not much difference in lollipop and MM.

because I have read many comments on this site & many other sites that all 6 cores operate at a time.. & thats the only reason I am buying redmi note 3..
so if your facts are right then I am gonna cancel my order..
Also I want to ask, does all hexa & octa core smartphone processors are like this only (big-little type) or is there any true hexa or octa core processor smartphone available in India?

Anonymous, 10 Sep 2016Vivo v3 max is bestsd652 drains battery faster and v3max doest have a good battery so when playing it will only give you 4-5hours of sot, while rn3 can give up to 11h. in gaming performance both have Qualcomm Adreno 510 so similar performance, in camera rn3 is better and you can check on any website. so i really think that rn3 is a better pick.
