Since redmi user complained the poor of battery after upgrading to miui 184.108.40.206, I decide to not updgrade to miui 220.127.116.11. Actually my confusion arises after using security app of miui. In this there is an option for the battery optimization (analyze battery usage) after running this this app set my brightness to auto mode.. and you're also right that XIAOMI intentionally decrease the performance of rn3 battery to promote rn4..

Really worried.. i ha... moreAnd for your question, manually adjusting the brightness is better (of course if you aren't lazy to do that), auto brightness requires the ambient light sensor to adjust the brightness according to the lighting conditions around you so the ambient light sensor is always turned on and drains battery, although the battery drained by this feature is minimal.
