I would like to say that Xiaomi is not concern to the customer satisfaction. They don't release marshmallow update for the Redmi note3 yet. I think they are busy with mi5. But we are 5 million people using the note 3 device. They have to release Regular update for the device.Otherwise they would lost their popularity.

Fantastic device! The only drawback is lack of screen protection of any kind. However - screen protectors are relatively cheap! Very good device for a fantastic price!

Ahmad, 17 Feb 2016Hi, I just bought redmi note 3 mediatek 3 gb 1 month ago. But the phone is overheating while c... moreMine doesn't over heat. Maybe I don't notice cause it's full in under 2 hours of charging. I don't play games, but i watch videos and use various apps a lot. It did get warm sometimes, but never reached something I could call overheating.

I compare it with my PS V... moreThere will be a bit of temperature increase if you charge your phone while let it idle, but it won't overheat too much. Regarding the Snapdragon 650 variant, I can't answer you since I don't have 1 on hand.

I have this device and im surprised how well the mtk chip works.
Only issue is I can't play every game (for example dawn of titans) on it,it won't start.
The Camera is average and the battery 4000mah is more likely around 3500 (measured) however it's a great device specially for the price and it works like a butter.
