I got near 6 hrs SOT, and you can play games in performance mode for about 4 hrs with cellular data on(3G). It just take about 130mins to charge the battery from 0-100%.

Every try to convince that they are heavy user or good user. But this is smart phone lah buddy. You got ram / memory / lcd it's likes computer. Don't judge likes you buy a Freezer or washing machine. Even washing machine also heat. So it's normal. If you buy samsung galaxy note 5 or even until note 12 also got heat. Huhuhu.

If you want battery much longer choose power balance. For gaming of coz performence. No lag at all. Even one framerate per second. I think this is far better than lg g3 and g4. No.need to root for eliminate some bloatware apps.

And now a days battery is a big factor. So need to improve battery life as well as heating issue.

As MIUI 7 is new, it has may complications, just wait for upgrade, also camera of redmi noe 2 and 3 is almost same but the flash of redmi note3 is dula tone and powerful which will help you better picture in low light

But if you say about soc than s5 much better also back camera of s5 is better, but if you want to use an upgraded product you can go for redmi note 3 and if you want a sustainable product you can stay for s5. There is no actual comparison between these 2. My opinion is xiaomi will bring mi5 or mi note 2(not redmi note 2) in future, this will be the best.
