Ravi, 28 Nov 2015Does this phone have NFC?I can guarantee no. Xiaomi said a little while ago that their research shows only 1% of their users use NFC, hence they remove NFC from further phones and replace it with the more useful IR blaster. The research happens during Xiaomi Mi2A and Xiaomi Mi3 times, the only two phones that get NFC.

My Redmi Note was awesome, the battery life is still a day or so after more than one year, one thing that many big brands cannot achieve, and is very comfortable as a gaming phone. I'll upgrade as soon as Redmi Note 3 arrives, be it official or not.
