Guys *over* heating for this phone is normal,especially when using him on charger while on internet (that is absolutely normal thing on all devices even Apple ones)-so avoid using device internet while on charger.Im using Redmi Note 3 MTK almost 4 months and sometimes i have experienced couple days ago while temperatures outsides was about 40 degrees of Celsius some heating of phone like he will burn my hand (but i was using phone internet and device was on charger,but when i took him off charger and continued to use him,temperature of device was a lot smaller...and that is ok).So to be clear,this device dont have such heating issues like you are describing,cuz my bro have same device,my gf and couple of my friends,after all its not PC to have cooler inside housing.When writing some device is heating,please have in mind other factors that can be reason for heating (sweatty hands,surounding temperature and even complexity of thing that you are doing on your device-playing music/games/videos/using wifi/phone net..etc you get it).Beside RMN3 i have iPhone 5 and to be honest apple is good and that all,but my iPhone 5 (first one) was heating in January (not so warm temperatures) and he was not on charger and still was heating insanely so i have complained to store and they have changed my device with new one,so my iPhone 5 (second one-im using) is heated like first one and now in Summer time he is burning my d4mn hands to be honest when using internet (not on charger),but when i connect him on charger sometimes i think he will freakin explode.

Very bad service my redmi note 3 charging port was not worked when i was gone in service center they say your device will repair in 20 days very slow service of MI service center

Pl don't buy this everything will be worth for paying except Network u will not get network so you can not use voice call. some time it works.
so u can not use internet 4g sim will not support......
