from my observation here for few days, lots of ppl complaining about mi india. i got my redmi note 3 from 3rd party supplier, imported from china, i have no complain so far.

Dont buy Mi note 3. It's having problem with sim slot. After inserting sim phone does not detect sim after one hour. Also it gets switch off automatically. Mi call centre staff is rude and not supportive. I've requested for mi note3 for replacement coz of faulty cell on 23April16 but they didn't send anyone to pickup for 7days. I called them everyday to enquire but they did not have any answers. They kept on saying someone will come soon every time for 7 days. On 30april16 I received call from mi India saying I have to courier the cell myself to their warehouse as my area does not come under their serviceable area. Guys don't buy mi note3 and waste your money.

Concerned about the c... morecamera on vibe x3 seems promising, well vibe x3 is kind of flagship from lenovo, camera on redmi note 3 just AVERAGE on both snapdragon and mediatek version. even the snapdragon version has 16mp camera but the quality is about the same as mediatek 13mp camera. honestly i think my old Lenovo S920 has better quality with its 8mp main camera compared to redmi note 3. and for the sound, its just average, well its cheap so we get what we paid for. since you opt for camera and sound quality, i recommend you to get vibe x3, you even get good sound quality with it. redmi note 3 (snapdragon) mostly suitable for gamer..redmi note 3 (mediatek) is not as powerful as snapdragon version in term of GPU but good for watching movies if you know what is clearmotion and i like it i cant live without it. but 99% of people here dont know what clearmotion is /or dont need it so they dont bother with mediatek.

madhu, 19 Apr 2016can the memory be increased of the 16gb/2 gb ram version ?MediaTek version does not have a SD card slot. i will suggest you to go for the snapdragon version. it is far better than mediatek.
