I am the happy owner of a Xiaomi Mi Max 1. I've had it quite a few months now and I love it. So much so that I am looking to upgrade and have gone past Apple and Samsung as the specs on this Mi Max far surpass their opposition. The display on this phone is spectacular, on a par with my old Sony X Ultra. Yes, I have a penchant for larger phones. The battery life is okay considering the battery was supposedly one of the largest at the time of purchase. My only gripe is the non-expandable memory and the inability to put apps onto an expansion card. This is why I'm upgrading. I am heavy, heaaaavy user and the battery life is still pretty good considering. I had one time when I could not hear people on the other end of my phone. It was awful. So the sound side is ordinary, here's hoping that's rectified in newer models. Mine is basically to replace an Ipad and Iphone (why carry two if I can manage with just one big one). And it definitely did the job. It's sturdy, well built, strong and with tempered glass screen protectors, the screen hasn't smashed yet (and I've dropped it a few times). I definitely recommend these phones, but only to people that are computer literate enough to know how to fix their own software problems as Android is installed over the top of MUI, which is totally useless to me. Oh, finally, I could never connect my phone to my PC, it would not auto detect, this could be a fault of my PC though. So there's my humble, happy shopping.

I used Redmi Note 4 almost 5 months, so far no I'm not facing any major issue and overall I'm satisfied with Mi brand.
I also bought Mi earphone so far the price is cheap and quality is good.
Satoscio, 11 Dec 2017The phone actually has 5GHz wifi, can you fix the specs please?Wi-Fi (n) standard is capable of 5 GHz. The spec sheet is correct
I using xiaomi note 4 3/64 twice and all of them have battery problems. If i turn on the GPS in high accuracy, the battery will drop to 30% in 5 hours. Its different when i using redmi 4 prime, it drop to 30% in 10 hours. Thats my experiences with note 4 3/64GB. Just sharing
Redmi note 4 is a good budgeted phone for simple users.camera is dissappointing.but overall it is the best.good battery life, sound, faster control.Gaming is good and not much heating issues.any phone gets heated.it is only because of the heavy usage and more time we use the phone gets heated.I have only one problem that is the bad camera quality.but it can be solved in the camera settings.
