Jebat8484, 21 Apr 2018For games rules of survival okay or notYes it can play Rules Of Survival, you can play it in High settings, you can even play it in Excellent settings but its a bit laggy and can bother you while playing ROS because you will be having trouble aiming with that laggy thing so I would recommend High settings. If you play other games other than ROS in this phone, trust me you will enjoy it. There's no lag issues. Definitely recommend it for budget gaming phone especially when it comes with 4000mAh battery that can last up to 9hours of intense gaming. If you just use it for daily use I mean you're not a heavy user, it can last for a long time.
om, 19 Apr 2018Which phone is better in overall performence
Redmi 5 plus or huawei Y9 (2018) ?a look at y9's chip will tell you the whole story, huawei wont give up on kirin 659, the crapiest processor ever.
that phone cant compete with redmi 5 plus. with that processor you cant get good pictures, (you heard it right, processors involve in image processing too), you wont get even average graphic, not good battery, very slow charging, all because of kirin 659
Hows the gaming performance on the device as its an older 625 unit? Like real racing 3 or other games? Any set backs in frame rates?
AnonD-753576, 21 Apr 2018Oppo F7 or Redmi 5 plus? Better get Redmi note 5 or note 5 pro.
Oppo f7 is beast as compare with redmi 5 plus ...becoz sos is p60 which is so powerful...and brilliant cameras..so wat else you want from a mobile
In this update 9.5.4...aps taking time to launch...performance gets slow a bit...i hope xiomi will fix it up...

Which phone is better in overall performence
Redmi 5 plus or huawei Y9 (2018) ?
I have this phone for couple of weeks.
I am thrilled with battery usage.
Fingerprint works as a charm, unlocks phone in a ms.
Very good screen and nice aluminium body reminds me at iPhone 6
Very fast an fluid system, I haven't experienced any lags or bugs even I have installed tens of apps and this is one of priority to me.
Things that could be better:
Charging battery could be faster.
If you choose to use phone without buttons - back swipe should work batter. This is why I choose to go back with buttons.
Camera is better in premium models. Still it's definitely good enough.
Overall very stable phone with premium design lot of features, very custamazible
For 165$ definitely must have, I don't see any competition near it.
the.one, 18 Apr 2018redmi 5 plus, because of its better screen, bigger screen, bigger battery the chipset (cpu/gp... moreI got my redmi 5+ yesterday, thanks for your advise, redmi 5+ is truely good phone, i really like the design ,display, the battery life and an excellent gaming performance.
mafiaprinc3, 17 Apr 2018Updated to it about 2hrs agoNice. The battery's drainage issue solved a little bit in this update.
AnonD-752353, 16 Apr 2018is it upgradeable to android 8 ?It will be. If you look at Redmi Note 4 (x) one with SD625. That phone was on sale in february 2017 with 6.0.1 and get 7.0 Nougat in august 2017. This phone will get Oreo, also in august 2018. But this prone is really good, also no difference between Nougat and Oreo on Xiaomi phones because they run same MIUI versions, or almost same.
AnonD-342553, 18 Apr 2018Plz Xiaomi note 5 does anyone had issues with fingerprint as hanging mobile doesn't recognize ... moreno any issue, whats your miui version? check for updates, latest version is 9.5.4
i have seen this phone with fake rom, which causes lots of problems.
just go to setting/about phone and check miui version write all numbers and letters,
btw, have you ever got any update since you bought the phone?
