Plastic has the best flex of ... moreso, in you opinion, all companies who makes their premium products like S9, S10, Iphone-X and all others make a huge mistake, right ? They should have sold $1500 phone made of cheap plastic casing, and you are one of the persons who will be willing to buy. And if a company sells 2 version of the same $1500 phone, one made of plastic casing, and the other made of aluminium or gorilla glass, and you will choose the plastic one . Correct me if I'm wrong

I juts saw one on en.miui.com who had review... moreYes, my RMN4 also experiences burn-in with Tianma LCD, but it's still better than the AOC compatible part, which had also stuck pixels. It's very faint and almost unnoticeable, and is a problem only if I leave the screen on overnight

Plastic has the best flex of all three materials, and unlike aluminium, it'll return to its original shape if bent. Glass is a poor conductor of heat and very fragile.
Not sure how current year dictates the use of materials.

So better shut... moreSD712 is more power-efficient than SD675, but SD675 is more powerful in terms of cpu benchmarks. SD675 can take 48MP snapshots while SD712 can't. For a smartphone with a 48MP camera (either Samsung's or Sony's), SD675 is a more significant upgrade than SD712.

Samsung made a list of claims regarding the superiority of PLS over IPS, and then LG fired back with its own list of claims regarding the superiority of IPS over PLS. Other than the "better color accuracy of IPS", none of the other claims on the lists have been generally accepted. When other companies looking for a LCD solution, they usually go for IPS, not PLS.

Even for a low-priced smartphone such as Redmi Note 7, Xiaomi offers some near-premium treatment to its build quality. Put the Samsung M20 and RN7 into your hands, you will immediately notice the difference in build-quality and finish (glass vs plastic). Xiaomi also offers some level of water-proof treatment to RN7, according to the comments offered by Xiaomi management on the web. There are several in-water (shallow water, less than a feet) tests on Youtube. When Samsung M20 was placed in the shallow water , the screen went off within a few seconds. But when RN7 was placed in the same water for a minute, the phone stayed on as if nothing had happened. This is not IP rating, so adjust your expectation accordingly.

Looking at M20 (weak processor) and Asus zenfone max pro 2 (no type c). Will wait for redmi note 7 to release in India before making any decision. If camera and overall specs are good I might compromise with L3 DRM.

rigs, 22 Feb 2019Does anyone know if this phone has Widevine L1 level DRM? I use Netflix and Prime a lot and am... moreno this device doesnt come with widevine L1 DRM, but u can go for samsung galaxy m20(around same price)which has widevine L1 DRM if watching from netflix in fhd matters a lot to u.
