Been using this phone for a year. Got it slightly used for 7,000 pesos / ~$140.
Excellent camera, installed Gcam but default cam works amazingly too.
Snappy performance for what I use my phone for, games, SNS
ISSUES
Camera sometimes fails and I would need to reboot it.
For some reason it takes AGES to save a photo taken from instagram, I always end up taking a screenshot.
Overall, I'd say it's an excellent choice. But I won't buy it again unless it's less than $100.

What is maximum charging current you can reach?
I tried different cables, QC3 charger or power bank, but can't exceed 2300 mA. It seems charging voltage is only 5V. It takes 51 minutes from 10% to 71% according to app AccuBattery.

Anonymous, 29 Sep 2020so? both rn7 and rn8 also have issues. rn7 processor is slow, and rn8 also has dust inside cam... moreSay what you know don't use because of what your phone is doing to say other's are also bad I have been using rn7 over 7 months now I haven't experienced any problem.

I think I kinda solved the fo... moreAlmost forgot, my best screen on time was 8 hours, with wifi, and screen brightness around 50% & I think it was mostly used to play offline videos..
Playing PS emulator I still can get around 6-7 hrs SoT

Mine's not a problem with screen rotate, works just fine..
I think I kinda solved the force closed music app when opening camera, I locked the app on the ram management screen so whenever I opened camera while listening to music both will still opened, at least so far..
But the camera, it's still not as fast as it was...
If anyone still wants to buy RN7, I suggest you to take the biggest Ram available, the chipset actually still quite okay altho not that snappy, just don't expect it to be as fast as the SD 7 series, but it is still capable for daily use.. I liked the camera results sharp with pretty good details, and the speaker, altho not special, still sounds good somehow..
And it's pretty durable with the soft case on..
The battery life definitely not the best, but if you manage well for the individual app battery usage it will hold a full day with medium usage.. Restrict every back ground activity to just the app you need to be working on back ground.. And It got great standby time, I left it asleep for 6-8 hours it only reduced by 2% to 3% at most..

i am not a heavy gammer , SDM 660 is enough and rn7 has good development for roms ,etc.
i was thinking to go for rn8 but camera dust problem
i was thinking to go for poco m2 pro but speaker and camera problem
so only 2 options left
1.. wait for rn10 series
2.. go for rn7/p
