Someone keep mention the non-sense again and again.
Smartphone are released every week, every month, no point keep saying there are better phone out there, I means, when doesn't?
This phone is release way before Realme 3 Pro. If you really can wait, then save your hard earn money buy Pocophone F1, which still beat Xiaomi Mi9T/K20, Realme 3 Pro, Redmi Note 7, albeit the camera may be not as good, but that is very subjective.
Then, the rest are the pros and cons of each smartphone.
Let's face it, who has ever satisfied with the smartphone they currently owned?
A lousy accuse to upgrade to a better smartphone every month, every year?
This is a no end race, smartphone on the same price range gets better every year, just that now we have plenty more to choose from instead of letting Xiaomi dominating the market.

Ali, 22 Jun 2019Bro you mentioned there are better alternatives.
My situation is almost like yours, old phone... moreIn my country, redmi note 7 cost more than realme 3 pro. If it falls in your price range, I highly recommend it.
It has same camera as OnePlus 6T (sony imx519 exmor rs), Snapdragon 710 which has very powerful GPU, good charging time even without VOOC, runs on latest Android Q Beta OS, good visual experience and very good quality phone except that you should apply tempered glass on it.
Only thing it could improve is its battery timing, which is about same or better than its alternatives but not the best in this price. Currently, there isn't any phone that can compete with it in this price range. All of the better phones are flagship ones. Closest to it is Pocofone f1 but it still beats it in battery, OS, Camera, Storage.
If you want best battery, you should go for Asus zenfone max pro M2 or M1. They're good overall (M2 is much better than RN7) but not as good as realme 3 pro. If you want a cheaper phone, then realme 3 is also an excellent phone if you don't mind its screen resolution.
About Nokia. When they said "you don't have to change your phone", they were mostly referring to its long term support for software updates. Nokia is currently adapting Android One OS with at least 2 years of software support. Personally, this is the ideal OS for me. Otherwise, I don't care about long term updates support because that is just a marketing trick to make people buy the phone.
They do make excellent phones but they don't have a "complete package" in this price range. For example, Nokia 8 is a good phone with better chipset than Realme 3 pro in slightly higher price, but it doesn't have as good battery and camera. And the design isn't as good as Realme 3 pro.
If they release a phone that can have all those, I would buy Nokia without hesitation because Android One is best for performance and stability and Nokia has good quality.
I own a Redmi 5+ (initially redmi note 5). It has been with me for the last 6 months. Excellent performance for it's price range. The only complain i have is that it is slightly bent. I just put it on my pockets and regular use. Once it bent, i forced it to normal, but it bent again in a different fashion.
I went to china in may and had those note 7 in my hands (as well as other xiaomi models). They doesn't seem hard enough. The case is made out of cheap plastic, and not the kind you feel strong. It feels like it is going to crack.
So, unless you are going to use it with extreme caution, or you want to throw your money away, then those phones, even though their specs are great, are bad choices.
What are all those specs good for, if the case or the screen get broken?
P.D.: My Redmi 5+ is still bent and working. I switched to another brand before it breaks.

But note 7 Pro takes pretty good pictures if you install gcam on it.
Xiaomi phones often have these sort of issues at start, but they also get fixed most of the time in updates. I think gsmarena review must be before note 7 pro camera was updated. Its default camera result is same as note 7. Good in daylight, bad in low light.
Wowie, 21 Jun 2019Anyone here who has the same issue that when you set your video quality to 720p, there is a bl... moreYes. That's the problem when a phone gets unnecessary updates. Too many bugs.
I fixed it by draining battery to 0. Then powered it up again without charging, and then I drained its battery again till it powered off. I kept doing it till it didn't boot up anymore.
Then I held down the power button for 20 seconds. And then charged the phone and boot it up. It was fixed.
But first try clearing camera app data/cache and also clear dalvik cache. Then reboot your device and see if it's fixed.

My situation is almost like yours, old phone with broken screen(s3), saving money to buy a decent one.
Please can you tell me other options if you found after buying this phone.
Also, what do you think about the new nokia phones, they are bragging that you dont have to change your phone after buying it.
well i bought this phone (4GB Ram version) like two weeks ago, this actually a great budget phone, and the camera is great, good battery
Anyone here who has the same issue that when you set your video quality to 720p, there is a black blurry shadow like line across your screen? It's like your pointing the camera in front of a computer monitor. It's not barely visible under daylight.
Hey Any one using Sim adaptor in this phone? Or have experince i have many q regard like is using sim adaptor tool in 32Gb fone is harmful ? Plz explain any one is here if ☺
