Not a bad phone, but the most terrible disappointment is battery life - compared to redmi Note 4(625) much worse. I do not play games, but I call a lot and use the Internet. If I knew that everything is so bad, I would buy Mi 8, in our country the difference in cost is not dramatic. Very bad battery. Very poor battery here.

No problems and battery lasts at least a day or two. The only people who post 'reviews' here seem to play PUBG all day and base their opinion on that. I use my phone for a bit of everything and it does all of it well. Camera is a bit lacking in some dark environments but that's it. I love mine, I came from iPhone so was a bit nervous about the switch

I own a Redmi Note 7 (I live in China) and am pretty disappointed with it. Camera quality is a step up from other Xiaomi Note phones, but build quality is poor and the battery life isn't that great. It seems like Xiaomi has tried to pack too much into this device which has meant overall quality and usability has dropped.
Looks great, had great specs, but ultimately not a great phone to use.
Note: my Redmi 7 screen broke after about 3 weeks of usage and 2 drops. My previous Note 4 phone lasted three years and at least 60 drops

keyursheth, 26 Apr 2019very low call volume. cannot use in public places for calling and talking. total waste of mone... moreAt first, i though the same thing but when i received a call, after the blue bar reached top when i was trying to increase volume, i continued to press it and the notification came out, something earpiece boosting or something like that and the mic was so loud that i cound hold it direcrly on my ear and i had to lover the volume. Hope it helps.

very low call volume. cannot use in public places for calling and talking. total waste of money. now my only option is to use headphones or sell and buy other phone.
cannot trust any company for quality these days. may be apple but they too are very greedy. really sad today.

My redmi note 7 after taking a photo takes very long to load into gallery, like I can't view the photo once I took a photo. Need to wait like more than 10 secs. Is it the case for you guys? Or is it my note 7 got problem? Hope to hear from you guys soon b4 I send in to service centre.
