Anonymous, 23 Mar 2019WTF? The Indian version has band 20, but the "global" does not? It is a typo. Global has B20, indian does not
Is it OTG powered?

Anonymous, 23 Mar 2019can you explain please Durability Mi A2 Lite frame and body make from metal (aluminium) Redmi Note 7 make from plastic and glass. Mi A2 Lite Android One less or almost no bugs on OS update and no advertisement than RN7P MIUI famous with bugs on OS update and do have advertisement. Mi A2 Lite come with dedicated slot for memory, RN7P hybrid slot. Mi A2 Lite cheaper than RN7P. But its up to you to decide. I believe RN7P not worth our hard earn money.

Guys, which one is better.. Xiaomi redmi note 7 or asus zenfone max pro m2? For gaming and photography
Hi.
While I was wondering whether or not I should buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 I read many comments here. Most of them were contradictory which confused me a lot. So, here I am going to write a short review the phone from first person view.
I bought Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 a week ago. It’s the Global Version, 64/4 memory. I am using it in Bulgaria.
It comes with standard 5V/2A charger(no fast-charger in the box), USB/type-c cable and silicon back case in the box. First impression is definitely positive. Very nice look, stays well in the hand, not so big for a Note model. It was charged to 70% (if someone cares). On the first start you have to do the initial setup – Region, Date, Fingerprints. The OS starts to update itself after that. Also all default apps starts to update next.
Google Play Store was preinstalled. Also some other Google apps. Xiaomi has many default apps which you cannot uninstall or delete from home screen. The only option(AFAIK) is to hide all default apps you will not use in a folder.
First point here - ads. It strongly depends from the Region you chose. I set Bulgaria, so no ads at all.
It tooks me about 1-2 min to setup fingerprint.I think my finger was damaged because it was hard to detect it. After that the detection is fast and smooth. (And.... I think it improve itself because the detection is getting slightly faster)
Second point – Face unlock. It is dependent on the Region. It was not available in Bulgaria Region. It is available in India for sure (never tried other Regions besides Bulgaria and India). If you would like to use it, change the Region to India and setup it. Remember, if you change the Region back to your local, the face unlock will not work. Keep it to India and set date/timezone manually to your local. When you change to India Region you DO start to receive some ads, most of them you can disable to show in the future (you actually disable the app itself to show notifications, which in the most cases are Mi default apps). On other hand the Face unlock option works pretty fast.
The cameras are pretty good. The calls are clear for both persons. I don’t experience any notifications delays as some people complained here.
It charges from 10% to 100% for about ~2h.
I haven’t experience any freezes or lags in apps or in MIUI.
I works well with Mi Band 3 so far.
The only frustration I found so far is the chat head option for Messenger. When you turn it ON, a notification is constantly staying in notification bar telling you that Messenger is allowed to show on-top of other applications and if you don't want to, you should visit Messenger settings to turn it off…but there is no option to tell that you are okay with this behavior.
Another cons I found is scrolling. It’s not smooth. The continues sliding after the swipe stops abruptly. It disturbs you a little bit if you start scrolling Instagram or Facebook.
The front and the back are glass(Gorilla Glass or so). The sides are pure plastic. Stylish design indeed.. but plastic.
So, this is the overview from my experience for about a week use.
In conclusion, I would definitely recommend it. It’s an very beautiful device with many extras for not-so-much money. An excellent budget phone.
I would consider another feedback after a while if I found something interesting worth sharing.
