They launched the phone just an hour ago along side the Redmi Note 7 debut in India. Redmi Note 7 has been priced INR 9,999 ($140 approx) for 3/32 and INR 11,999 ($170 approx) for 4/64.
While the Redmi Note 7 Pro has been debuted for 13,999 ($200 approx) for 4/64 and 16,999 ($240 approx) for 6/128 variant. The difference between the two is the CPU (660 vs 675) and the 48MP camera sensor [Samsung GM(China/Vanilla RN7) vs Sony IMX486 {12 MP f2.2 1.25µ +2MP depth} (India/Vanilla RN7) vs Sony IMX586 (India/RN7Pro)].
This is clearly a shot to the Oppo's Realme, Asus Zenphone M and the Galaxy M series.

Another option should be given to buyers to have the same phone under the Android One programme, particularly for those who want a clutter free interface. Xiaomi may price that (Android One) a Rs1000/- more than this one.
Finally it is just a difference in implementation of Interface Software.

The image used, isn't the Redmi Note 7 Pro. The new colours are for the India Redmi Note 7, whereas the India Redmi Note 7 Pro has the same colours as the China Redmi Note 7.
