manos60, 23 Nov 2019Xiaomi mi3, or Redmi Note 8?Well, Mi A3 is more compact, have better cameras (front and back), software, soon, Android 10, but screen is not sharp as in Note 8. Note 8 on the other hand have, more options in UI, it's fast (like A3), have similar battery life (i hope GSMArena will confirm that with test), so in the end if you wanna compact phone with stock software, Mi A3, if you want MIUI (today i recive MIUI 11), then Note 8. Note 8 have really good screen (better than Note 7, don't know is it the same tehnology used). Anyway, those two phones in 4/64GB have identical price (for black, grey models).

Geric.770, 23 Nov 2019Install GCam to access the full capability of the cameras. :)I did install gcam but the quality of the video degrades as I choose to have my recording in 60fps. also GCam does not come with manual adjustments when it comes to videography. The most important part is that the app that I really use for videography does not give me the option to record in fhd 60fps. Kind of regretting buying this fone for mobile videography. But the Mi site put a note that stock cam fhd 60fps will be available in the next update. So, for those who are into mobile videography, step back for a while with this fone cuz it does not support 60fps as of now.

Anonymous, 21 Nov 2019yes I'm sure, smartphones here in Tunisia are silly high, the pro version costs 350$ .. faceplamYou can grab one in friday now, 29 november (black friday) on online sites like aliexpress, gearbest, etc.. Price goes for global 3/32GB as low as 120$, 4/64 140$, with shipping inc. And phone for that price is really good.. Good luck

DarkCoder, 22 Nov 2019Redmi Note 7 Pro.. (Better CPU/GPU it has)Not really.
RN7 has better CPU, but weaker GPU. RN8 has wekaer CPU, but better GPU. Hence, the trade-off seems to be almost the same in terms of day to day performance.
If u don't have any redmi series phone yet, go for Redmi Note 8. If u do have the 7, don't upgrade yet.

i got the rn8 global version but kind of disappointed. it does not have 1080p 60 fps recording on stock cam,,, same with zy play camera app for my smooth 4 gimbal
