what is going on with my redmi note 8? notification bar disappears every 5 minutes in android 11 and i notice some important features is gone after the update. horrible

phone goes into bootloop every often, camera and chrome crashes and so laggy.

The last update to my Redmi Note 8 was a total disaster as the phone has slowed down and lagging badly, the brightness is reduced, control centre and it's settings are missing, notification lights for missed calls and messages do not work, ringtone quality has become sharp and shrilly. Before the update the phone was perfectly normal and working well. Now to end a call takes ages before the call is ended. In short the Redmi Note 8 has become a nuisance and rendered useless by the last update.
If Xiaomi guys are reading this I request them to please immediately issue a new update for this phone and and save the users from not only misery but boycotting Xiaomi phones in future.

My redmi note 8 is showing round pinky red with white dot in the middle when I turn on "show taps" in the developer option. It started showing this bold pinky red that's like the size of my thumb after updating to the latest version of miui 12

Did Xiaomi pushed back the android 11 update? I didn't install the update when it released and let it hang for a while. Now it's gone. When I check for new updates it's not there. Not that I would install it seeing the responses, but curious anyway.

I traded this phone in for 30$ and bought a samsung a42 and it is better .. even my galaxy a3 2016 is faster than redmi note 8
