I think this cell phone is very cheap for the things it has. Has good sound and takes great photos and records good videos and many things. I would have liked that the camera was in the middle and not in the corner of the cell phone and was deeper.
Ameenu, 12 Jul 2021Thank you bro for the advice. Between Redmi note 8 and Redmi note 8 2021 which one should i buy ?Redmi note 8 2021 would be better

Not recommended at all, system lagging even I'm lite user I dont have too much app running, the wifi disconnect sometimes without any reason while all other devices at hime is connected.
The last and the worst problem is the endless boot loop that I experience lately and no update from xiaomi for fixing any of these problem.
Well, I like to try new brand always but I'm done with xiaomi

Any significant difference between the 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB ?
- laggy UI, I think it has more to do with the optimization
- nice screen with great contrast and color despite using IPS LCD display
- good camera
- light and comfortable to hold
- great built quality (Gorilla Glass sandwitch)
- sleek & beautiful design, love looking at it after I undres.. ahem took off the casing
- great battery life (4000mAh) can last me until midnight with medium usage
- speaker is meh only but nothing to complain about
No one worry about redmi note series battery unless you are the one hoping for miracles in every aspect.

Around 20%-100%, battery drainage depends on how many apps are running (there is an internal speed booster that clears cache and closes all active unused programs). In terms of 0-20%, the battery is exceptional. It last very long, long enough to still play games and if unused, may still be awake for 20 hrs straight. In addition, the phone has battery saver (common) and "Ultra Battery Saver" that switches your phone to a custom screen with very limited apps (can add apps to your liking).
I want to buy this phone, but please how about the battery endurance ? I need a phone with good battery.

To prolong the life of your battery pack, keep these tips in mind for proper battery care. The lifespan of your phone battery should last between 300-500 charge and discharge cycles,(depending on the manufacturer) which usually amounts to 2-3 years. The trick is how to prolong those cycles,In short if I want my battery to last longer, I shouldn’t charge it above 85%, and don't let it discharge below 25% battery level. At this range, you receive the best balance of depth of discharge and runtime. If you stay in this zone, you can maximize your battery use and retain that healthy battery life for a much longer time.Li-ion or li-po batteries are designed to perform its best between 30 % and 80 % capacity so, once the battery hits lower than 30%, feel free to charge your smartphone already.
Likewise, once the charge hits 85%,(MAX 89% ! ) you really don't need to wait for your phone to reach 100 percent anymore, you can check this in battery- power consumption details- battery usage- and you will see how this cycle does not count here,(there you will see the battery life or the last charge, but if you charge up to 100% after each charge it resets and starts from 0, which means that another cycle is taken away) and when you run out of those cycles then the battery starts to mess up.
(Discharging the battery to 0% is the biggest destroyer).
Think of you battery as the human body throughout the day. You don't really need to wait like you're about to die to take some rest and recharge yourself and you also don't need a perfect eight or nine hour sleep to be able to function at full capacity.
A higher-power charger only means that it can deliver that certain amount of current, not that it will bring that amount of current into the device.
