Regarding the gaming experiences the mi note 8 4gb ram does not provide satisfaction to the users. Game like pubg is working better in other 4gb ram phones such as vivo, oppo, real me,etc so why not this phone, actually it should provide smoothness in playing pubg. I bought this phone for gaming and now im facing a problem in playing pubg. Yes, it is really a good phone somehow provides good services to the users but please make sure that the next phone update must fix the problem of playing pubg and besides that the battery drain fast problem. Please provide the update at the latest.

Prakash, 25 Oct 2020software problems. All received calls are showing unknown calls. not showing the name or number.Just switch your network option from lte only to LTE/TD-SCDMA/UMTS then run ping finally your calls will back to normal

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Go to Additional Settings.
3 Select Authorization & revocation.
4. Find msa and toggle it off.

Any one having battery drainage problem, I bought this 3 months ago , it drains veryfast , even lower mid phones are better than it (in battery drainage) . In 8 hours of standby 10% battery decreased .. ? can anyone help

Zrell, 09 Nov 2020Is it still good to buy this phone right now for gaming purposes?Depends on your expectations. There are better chipsets than Snapdragon 665 for gaming in this price, but it's also fine.
I recommend going for minimum of Snapdragon 710/712 or Helio G90T for good gaming experience.
But if you can settle for lower graphics and about 40FPS in games like PUBG (which is good), then:
Helio G80
Helio G70
Snapdragon 675 are also great.
Snapdragon 665 is a bit less powerful than these, and will give 35-40FPS. So it also offers reasonably smooth gaming experience.
Just make sure you only buy 4GB RAM variant or more.

I don't know about their latest phones, but I've used Samsung Galaxy A51 & A50. Their camera quality is comparable to phones that cost only 30-50% of their price.
In fact, I went to dinner with friends and we preferred taking pictures with Realme 3 & Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 instead of Galaxy A51.
That's how Samsung compares to Chinese brands.
Their chipsets are also always way too weak for its price (I can buy Snapdragon 835 & 845 in A51 price).
I can get similar or better performance than A51 in 50% of its price from Realme phones.
Xiaomi has its own share of problems. I don't disagree with that. Their MIUI is heaviest Android OS & always lag on 3GB RAM phones, Consumes most Battery, offer Lowest Performance and have Most Bugs than OS of Huawei, Realme, Samsung, Oppo, OnePlus and even Infinix.

I'm using Galaxy a20 and i got in june. Still you guys didn't get? What a sad story. Poor in developing software, and i think they said global version released and almost everyone didn't get the update.
