I am going to be throughout. I've had this phone since Jul/2021 and it is a good phone for basic tasks. But the usability of the 64Gb model is very low and everything is slow. Discord is so slow. The most important part, the battery, it ends up going for only 2 hours on mid brightness and no power saving. I use it with the slider on the sun icon and power saving because the battery does not go for long enough. The wifi goes off at any time and you have to turn it off and on. The Sim card may just go unrecognized and you have to pinch the tray to make the phone detect it. Xiaomi needs to publish an optimization update for this phone even if it is out of support. Android 11 pushes this phone's limit, and even the Galaxy A12 with almost the same specs goes to Android 13 with no issues. If you're loading pictures with the USB on PC, it will just say the phone is busy and never work. If you turn on the iPhone bar that sits at the bottom of the screen, you will often find yourself turning google assistant by accident, even on the three buttons, google assistant lags out the phone so much.

No MIUI 13 for this one, perhaps fortunately given how it has messed up the performance of the Redmi 9 and Redmi Note 9's most basic versions.

Got my phone last 2019. Been using redmi note 8 for 3 years and the only problem I got is the battery at the moment that's why I need to change it. Redmi Note 8 is a good phone and affordable to buy.

I still have my Redmi Note 8 phones, both the 3/32 and 4/128 variants. Bought them last Nov 2019. Unfortunately, their batteries cannot hold a charge anymore. So, whenever I use them, they should be plugged in all the time. It sucks

When I play videos or some heavy stuff or I talk on loudspeaker, my phone get restarting. I think it may be the issue of battery or of firmware. When I use phone while connecting charger, it works fine. Can any one suggest something.
