Those who complain might have got inferior units , yes it's frustrating and might be hard to get a replacement or send in for warranty. Unlucky, that's life.
Those who are lucky just like myself with xiaomi all these years , the experience is very good

only two hours? so what do you do with the battery, you start your car, man it lasts long enough for all needs throughout the day and for normal consumers even 2 days.

Joke aside, dispose of it responsibly through a recycling plant. The software support is just horrific with this phone.

I regret buying this phone the battery is so bad it draining so fast i get only 2 hours of sot although the battery is 4000 mah but it looks like 2000 mah i will have to sell it and i will not buy xiaomi again my last xiaomi phone samsung is way better

Anonymous, 12 May 2020You should use 3rd party record apps..... For video record you can try open cameraYeah, I forgot to mention that, I used several 3rd party apps, all give the same result; no voice recorded, only muted video. I also tried go live on FB, still the same.

I have purchased new redmi note 8 two months before... I found this phone as a worst one which I have ever used. Main issue shown was the connectivity problem , means to any network connection the phone shows out off coverage area alert. Every one contacting to my number get the out off coverage area alert,but phone is in full range and I can call to any number.Once I contacted to any number , for a few minutes the caller can get me , after that same network alert showing to the callers. I change my SIM connection and tried again.. still same issue...one more thing is that the phone gets too hot up on charging and sometimes wifi gets cut off or phone not responding to the signal.
