Sree, 20 May 2020No dont update it has a lot of heating issue while kept at charging and battery drain issueI bought a phone for redmi note 8 the yesterday. But now it has battery draining complaint for the same. I was Charge mu mobile 2 and 3 in a day. Yet, I don't have mobile devices for an entire day. Is this my alone?

Have been using it for few months now and haven't had any issue what so ever. The only regret is I should have gone for the 6GB variant.

I bought this phone 3 days back and it's a complete waste of money! First there was a WiFi issue. It refuses to connect to any network. Then it had the dialler issue. I couldn't receive any call. Fixed the later issue somehow but the WiFi issue after three days has started again. It's not connecting whatsoever. Useless and waste of money. I'm regretting trying this smart phone brand. What to do if I can't even connect to WiFi. The only application I have installed is WhatsApp now. Removed everything else. And using WhatsApp on data package

Some apps when running stop all of a sudden. Like PES. And when press back to menu it takes seconds to load the icons of the apps

I used this about 5 month and present time i m facing a problem that the phone is charge very slow and when it 80 percent charge then it in 12 or 15 minute one percent charge

The battery drain easily and took so long to ... moreMy battery charges 1 percent every 1 minute, BUT , do not discharge below 25% and do not charge it above 85% battery level. Li-ion and Li-Po batteries are designed to perform its best between 30 and 80 % and If you stay in this zone it will not ruin charge and discharge cycles so you can maximize your battery use and retain that healthy battery life for a much longer time.Think of you battery as the human body throughout the day. You don't really need to wait like you're about to die(0%) to take some rest and recharge yourself and you also don't need a perfect eight or nine hour sleep(100%)to be able to function at full capacity.

Anonymous, 17 May 2020Gaming performance on redmi note 8 is bad. Ordinary asphalt 8 can't play in high settings Yup that was addressed by Tech reviewers in YT. If you are a hardcore gamer then you should have opt for note 8 Pro or Note 9s aka Pro which has Snapdragon 720G dedicated for gaming.

it is not only your problem, but it is still strange how the other half to which it belongs and my phone has no problem, not only for notification but it is completely superior without problems, strange and how it is possible, there must be an explanation,but who knows.
