There will be no more miui updates from Xiaomi for this phone. Miui 12.5 is the last update, even the china beta has been stopped around nov 2021. If you want to taste Android 12 the only way is to unlock bootloader and flash any A12 custom/port rom.

One of the best and most used Android phones ever, it has a lot of ROMs available, it wont receive MIUI 13 but that's fine because it will continue to receive custom ROM support, just unlock bootloader and install one of many Android 12 custom ROMs available.

Not sure what is happening at Redmi. An excellent phone RN8 has become unusable after software upgrade. Behaves very funny. Reboots at random. Too touch sensitive. My faith in redmi has erroded. We were a Redmi family with 4 redmi phones. 3 have given problems in the last one month.
Need real help.

Now its the last update for RN8 and we are stuck with an unusable phone. It is so unacceptable how a 128gb phone could run like a low end Android Go phone😡
