1. Camera nothing special,
2. Viber outgoing calls issue (microphone stops working after 1-2 sec.),
3. Had to reset it to sort updates issue.

It is working much better than other phones. Battery life is awesome. I am still using MIUI10 Version. I also request Xiaomi Team to gix these two issues. These issues are not making phone brick/lag but as we are new users of your product, it will take time to adjust hand on your product.

Harshalpatel, 06 Jan 2020How was the phone on normal usage with 24x7 data on.? Planning to buy now.Just finished watching a video on streaming app for 2 hours and battery is at 85% still. So far so good. Up here 4g is always on, I have around 100+ gb data banking.
I sold my Honor 10 because of the battery started showing its signs after a years worth of usage.
Camera isn't as good as my Honor 10 but it's okay for day time photos.

So, first thing first, this Phone is a good buy, unless you are a Gaming Maniac. Nearly everything on this Phone is good, apart from 2 things:
(1.) When someone calls you (whether you have his/her Number in your Contacts or NOT), ONLY a Small Dialogue-Window appears on the Screen. Having a nice 6.3" FHD Screen, and NOT having a Full-Screen Notification Dialogue displayed, when someone calls you, it's just lame.... AND...
(2.) There is an UNpleasant Surprise with this Phone: While it has Hardware BlueTooth v5.0 Chip installed, it ONLY operates as being a BT v4.2, due to FirmWare imperfection, which is SSSOOO utterly LAME!!!
The GOOD news, however, are that BOTH points (1.) and (2.) described above, can easily be fixed with an OTA FirmWare Upgrade by Xiaomi! ;-) Please dear Xiaomi, fix these 2 Issues facing Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Global (Stock ROM) !!!

If you're using snapchat, pictures are yellowish or orangey in low light. Snapchat's camera already has low quality, with rn8's camera it made the pictures quality sucks even more, in whatever lighting. I regret buying this. (Not here to argue, just thought I would share)

Anyway, I get a max of 10h screen on time and 3 days of battery life in total. A bit of GPS navigation was also involved. I don't play games on phones so I don't know how long it lasts with that.
