This display is brighter than the competition's samoled screens. And the HDR support makes it almost comparable to a samoled screen. You can still tweak it in settings so you can get even a better screen quality.

MANOJ, 09 Mar 2020Very poor camera quality and display not good Camera is not bad, it's great but I wouldn't call it decent, especially on Macro and Ultra Wide wise.
Display, I kinda agree and not exactly, it's an IPS LCD after all but this is the first phone I ever acquired with HDR Support, a very bright screen and FHD+ Quality so I don't see any point in calling it poor, it's still decent despite the cd2 black and poor color quality (tho I don't have problems with color as I'm still satisfied with the phone)

MANOJ, 09 Mar 2020Very poor camera quality and display not good The display is a very good one. The maximum brightness is even higher than a samoled one and it is HDR too. The camera yeah.... Not the best but if you want to take quick photos (moving) go into pro mode and set shutter speed to 125 or higher and everything's good.

Maybe you can just choose the sign in later option or something like that but I'm pretty sure you gotta connect to use this phone. In settings aren't you seeing your account down at Mi Account?
