JamesWeebs, 13 Mar 2020The only cons on this phone is many user got device that at bottom screen got a little shadow,... moreI've actually noticed that when i had an ad playing, the X was on the top right corner, making the X buttton half visible, luckily you can still tap on the edges so no problem about that but im guessing it could be how the phone screen is placed when it was manufacturered? Because i don't think the screen is doing that on purpose

Because, if I am not wrong there are shadows at the bottom and at the top (notch). Someone should try to install a custom rom or something and see if this "issue" still persists. And I'm not sure but I think that I can kinda see some shadowing at the bottom but I can't see at the top because of the screen protector which is put milimetrically a little bit down than it is supposed to be. And what community are you talking about?

Because I'm always turned it on anytime to connecte... morei tend to not always turn it on but i use Samsung Galaxy Buds if i wanna ever connect to bluetooth, again the consumption is fine on this phone and the battery drains as expected

Because I'm always turned it on anytime to connected to mi band 4, day or night. When I leave it at night (at 9-11 PM) and woke up at morning it just drain 5% battery, 10% when mobile data active

If yours have that, you should go to service center to guarantee it before expired

JamesWeebs, 13 Mar 2020Hey, you need to check it to service center, i dont have any significant drain battery because... moreno the draining is actually fine without gaming, alltho listening to msuic with Bluetooth headphones is what amkes it kinda drain more battery but not 20-30, alltho i accidentally left Bluetooth on and when i slept with battery about 40-30 or less and so when i woke up, i saw it at about 25-20 but jo consumption is fine, at afternoon it actually stays to 90 and 80% without gaming and no problem

I know it because I always turned on bluetooth to connect mi band 4, mi band and TWS in the same time when watching movie or listening music and battery just lost 10% in the 5 and half hours

Even rn9p has bigger battery capacity, I'm sure rn8p will better, snapdragon still can't do this. battery efficient system on rn8p is really amazing, I can use phone 2 days without charge when I connect wifi only and not play games

Anonymous, 13 Mar 2020redmi note 8pro or note 9 pro?It depends on what you prefer, there isn't much difference except the Processing on the RN9P is actually a Snapdragon but it won't be cheap as the RN8P so if you want a energy efficient chipset then I would recommend the RN8P. Now looking at the battery and display, both are okay but the RN9P wins for the Advertised fast charging so far which will see if it will be true considering it packs 5020 mAh but for battery life the RN8P wins for it as it is the best battery life phone, for Display wise, I would go with the RN8P as it has HDR Support for an LCD Screen and it is the brightest screen I've seen

Only my phone drains a lot of I keep the mi fit app ... moreYou don't need to lock mi fit app, you can still get notification without lock it. Just make sure it no restrictions on battery saver and autostart. The most draining battery in my rn8p is cell standby because unstable signal, bluetooth and mi fit didn't take much battery so far
