Sami98, 21 Feb 2020Can you combine 4g and wifi speed in rn8p ?You can't aggregate data from WiFi and 4G. They're independent and can only be used once at a time but you can enable them both from the developer settings only for faster switching.

Sami98, 21 Feb 2020Can you combine 4g and wifi speed in rn8p ?You can do that in every xiaomi phone, check developer setting
MarcoPolo, 20 Feb 2020The RN8P has a better camera (64 MP not 48 MP like the K20), has a slightly higher performance... moreHow about the screen, Is rn8pro good?
Can you suggest me similiar device with rn8pro but with fingerprint attached on side/front?
Yoyo, 20 Feb 2020Hi there. i wanna buy this phone, but i'm worry about the mediatek chipset. all my phones were ... moreSome heating, potential long term support issues and deficient GCAM support for now are the issues with the mediatek chipset. probably not dealbreakers for most people.
If you want a snapdragon chipset in your phone check out thr poco x2 and the realme X2 both are better phones in the same price range.
MarcoPolo, 20 Feb 2020The RN8P has a better camera (64 MP not 48 MP like the K20), has a slightly higher performance... moreAbout the in display fingerprint.... I was talking about the K20's fingerprint scanner. The RN8P hasn't in display one but it got it rear mounted and is it very very fast. Sorry for the confusion created.
JamesWeebs, 20 Feb 2020Which one is better redmi k20 or redmi note 8 pro?The RN8P has a better camera (64 MP not 48 MP like the K20), has a slightly higher performance, a higher battery, and a slightly bigger screen. But the K20 has got a pop-up camera and a SAMOLED screen. If you really want a SAMOLED, a pop-up camera and/or in screen fingerprint which won't be extremely fast (I got a classmate with a S10+ and there are times when the phone doesn't recognise him, for example if you don't put your whole finger on the screen) and if a S10+ ultrasonic in display fingerprint won't do it's job extremely fast what about an optical one? Go for the RN8P but if you want a bigger screen, bigger battery, better camera and a little bit of waterproofness (IP 52) go for the RN8P. There aren't a lot of differences. I kind of mentioned all of them above.
Hi there. i wanna buy this phone, but i'm worry about the mediatek chipset. all my phones were have snapdragon's chipset. so this phone is worth it or not? is there any issue about this chipset?
Ive been using Note 8 Pro for about 2 months and smartphone photography is my love.... I tried Gcam and still have it installed but I hardly feel the need to use it. Mi's own camera software is too good. The only thing I need Gcam is for night mode since Mi's night mode sucks. Gcam is best for that.... Since the chipset is Mediatek and Gcam is not setup for non qualcomm chipsets its tough to find a good error free Gcam version... I downloaded the apk from a developer WYROCZEN.
bro you are a legend! keep helping others...keep it up!
Anonymous, 19 Feb 2020There's a brilliant set of actual user reviews on the Xiaomi reddit, have a look. Yeah i had, it looks like oversharping issue is much more prominent in 360 or 480p videos and thats might be due to miracast

Debby, 19 Feb 2020My Redmi note 8 does not charge when it's off and charges slowly when on. Need your opinion on... moreIf you mean when it is completely turned off then idk try pressing once the power button. That worked for me. And use the Security app (the optimizer) or go into setting, Battery & performance and press the Optimize button from time to time. If you mean that if you use your phone when charging it charges slow... Well... That's pretty normal. I do not know how slowly you mean but slower charging is normal.

So, flet me explain. The HDR function automatically activates only when you watch HDR videos and those are mostly the documentary omes, for example nature life, nature animals etc. So it will automatically activate only when you watch HDR content. To be honest some colors are maybe a little bit oversaturated but they are fine, in my opinion. Everything looks gorgeous. I have watched more scenes to see more colors and besides a scene where the yellowish ( idk how to call it ) thing on the tree looked a little bit weird but besides that everything looks gorgeous, as I just said. Don't misunderstand. The normal yellow looks good. Maybe it was only the sun's reflection in the video because it was sunrise.
You won't get anything oversaturated in Facebook etc, not even in YouTube because you can't find normal videos with HDR. Not a lot at least. And even if you do, they will look good. And you can adjust the screen colors by going into the color scheme to make the screen more warmer or colder. there's an auto option. I keep that turned on( I think that it is turned on by default ) because it will automatically "calibrate" the colors.
So, in conclusion, you can contact me on discord for more information, the HDR function is not oversaturated and there will be no problems in any app and you can even adjust the color by personal preference. Have a good day!
Obj, 19 Feb 2020I checked out the specs of the mia3 and it's quite ok. But can it's picture quality be compare... moreYou won't get a camera close to iPhone's one with this low budget. And I suggest you to go for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 instead of the Mi A3 because it got a bigger screen, a better resolution and well maybe better photo quality. Not sure tho. But for the few extra bucks (you can get the RN8P for like 230$ or lower but on AliExpress). So for like 30-40 $ I suggest you to wait and get the RN8P because it is a huge difference and you don't buy a phone only for like a few months or so you but it for at least one year so a few extra bucks would make your overall experience way better. And by the way the snapdragon doesn't makes the photo quality better. It even is a lower performance processor. The photo quality, besides the camera or cameras, is up to the software most of the times.
