Varee, 27 Dec 2019I have to choose between Redmi Note 8 Pro and Huawei P30 Lite. Which one is a better deal?Go for rn8 its good for gaming purposes ans its not bad regarding camera.

how’s the camera quality of the rn8p compared an iphone 6 plus?? i plan on buy the rn8 soon but there seems to be many mixed opinions abt the camera quality

Hardly helping your case, you shouldn't worry about updates also? Yes those may come or not. From what you say I'd probably go with another brand.

Xiaomi also copy other brand Samsung and Apple. They have no own designed Mobile phone. anything.

i has this phone for 2 weeks now and its has an issue it its hotspot.
when you enable hotspot its not visible by other phones , laptops and tablets and there is no solution to this issue at this moment from xiaomi

Got this phone for 2 weeks it's great good screen. Long lasting battery and very fast. My Nokia doesn't even come close to it. All those ads related comments. I hhaven't seen any yet.

I really like Note 8 Pro screen pro... moreThere is absolutely no reason to be confused if they're the same price. Redmi Note 8 Pro is twice as good than A3.
Regarding your concerns:
1. Almost all Xiaomi/Redmi phones have network complaints.
2. All MIUI phones have lower battery endurance than other OS, but Note 8 Pro has bigger battery.
And processors in Helio G90T are set up in a way that only 2 main processors do the work unless others are required, which helps save battery. This should make them about same or Note 8 Pro better.
3. Note 8 Pro camera is in top 3 in this price.
Mi A3 camera doesn't even come in top 15.
4. Mi A3 has Super AMOLED display which is famous for developing issues in long term use. Especially if you use high brightness often.
5. Note 8 Pro has sharper display than Mi A3. FHD vs HD.
6. Helio G90T is a much superior chipset than SD 665.
It's comparable to the new SD 730G. So the difference in performance is clear as day and night.
7. Realme 3 has a Mediatek chipset and it's still getting Android 10 in coming April, as officially announced by Realme itself. So don't worry about update support.
Besides, it's always better to buy a higher spec phone than a poor phone which only has better software updates.
Updates don't make your phone better. They are not required. If anything, brands intentionally slow down your phone through them to make you buy their new products.
I don't update my phone unless it has a specific feature I would like to have, which has only happened once in my life.

Hi guys,I am really confused about whether to buy Xaomi Redmi Note 8 pro (6+64) or Honor play 9X (6+128) knowing that this honor phone has HiliSilicon kirin 710 and I heard that the note 8 pro has some problems with its network and its battery,last thing I am not a heavy gamer but I am a heavy internet user and I use my phone kinda most of the time so I would appreciate if anyone could help me to decide with mentioning the reason for the choice.Thank you guys at the end.

I really like Note 8 Pro screen pro... morei have both, redmi note 8 pro hands down, fast as lightning.. comparable to my s10 5g
mi a3 amoled screen is overrated, its not bright and not sharp, pixelated

I know specifications but would lik... moreIf you are gamer and dont need android updates and need better screen quality go for redmi note 8 pro its excellent for games but it has mediatek chipset and never get android updates
If you need android updates and better batterry life go for mi a3 it also play games very good but not as good as redmi note 8 pro

I know specifications but would lik... moreMi a3 is simply not going to cut it for heavy gaming, for everyday use may be more comfortable to use due to being smaller and lighter, having great battery and good camera and it's really cheaper and due to android one you have no MIUI ads.
Small bugs both have but chances for updates favor Mi A3 due to having snapdragon soc, mediatek long term support remains questionable at this time.
Should be said that while stock android free you from ads it also makes the phone almost empty out of the box, you will have to add customization and even non google basic apps yourself, it is very annoying but is at least a one time job.

Amit, 27 Dec 2019Very much confused between samsung m30s and redmi note 8 pro, plz helpM30s is best for display and battery, rn8 pro is best for heavy gaming, for everyday use I would go for the M30s and for gaming or need NFC I would go with this.

I don't play games too much but... moreIf you want superb camera and battery I would go With the pixel 3a, if you don't have the 250-300 it costs then you can look at the Mi a3, it's like 150 great battery and cameras. This is a gaming phone and it's best for that but it has an OK camera and has good battery, it's rather heavy and big and for traveling maybe it will be uncomfortable.
