xSavagex, 18 Dec 2020It is true that after half a year or a year of active use the battery will wear out?Even if you never use the phone, the battery will wear out because of chemical reaction. Doesn't matter if cheap or expensive phone.
Still no update to fix the problem that redmi note 8 pro do not have LTE Advanced, carrier aggregation! Some user say that only band 1 and 3, if all other bands are deactivated, are used for carrier aggregation, but the problem is that many countries do not even use band 1 for 4G connections while ALLA other brands, Samsung and Motorola and..., are able to use LTE Advanced, carrier aggregation, in every country combining other bands! Xiaomi simply do not care about their international customers!
Google Lens keep on installing by itself. I dont use the app... it sucks

xSavagex, 18 Dec 2020It is true that after half a year or a year of active use the battery will wear out?All battery will wear out,, but how much it wears and how fast it is will depend on how you use your device..
I have my redmi note 7 for 1 and a half year and the battery is still quite perfect, i can use it untill 1% normally, no leaking, and the health test shows it was still good..
I almost never play games with my phone while charging, mostly I charged my phone while sleeping or while I'm busy at the office, so charging processes done almost always normal..
Also I used my phone mostly to browse the web, chats, play online and off line videos, rarely gaming

JacobG18, 15 Dec 2020Hi! I'm on a dilemma, please help! I'm considering Redmi Note 8 Pro and Pocophone ... morei'm hopeful you won't regret getting either of the two but the note 8 pro has liquid cooling and the pocophone f1 does not so there's that. not to mention the f1 was released two years ago and has stopped receiving os updates.
MarcoPolo, 14 Dec 2020This phone won't get Android 11. It's not LIKELY to get it because it has already go... moreHaving in mind an Android 11 based Miui 12 beta build is hitting chinese RN8Pro's around now, I would not exclude the possibility of this phone still getting another major Android upgrade down the line.
This phone is the best phone I have ever owned regardless of price. I've had this phone for 9 months. Running MIUI Global 12.0.5. Getting 12 hours screen on time when just watching videos. Around 24-48 hours when just using it like a smart phone.
Hi! I'm on a dilemma, please help!
I'm considering Redmi Note 8 Pro and Pocophone F1, only to survive 2021.. probably will change as soon as next year end.. both are the 6/64 version, I happen to got a very good deal, RN8Pro for $ 162 and the F1 for $ 177 (both used phone)
the redmi were bought for a few months, still rather fresh but I dont know about the Poco F1, probably much older..
which one I should get? which phone offers better experience?? thanks!
