Anonymous, 09 Dec 2019Pls is it true that redmi note 8 pro has heating issues especially when you are playing game? I'm using the Redmi Note 8 Pro for over a month now and haven't noticed any heating issues whatsoever. It warms up like any other phone with any other SoC in it.
When I compare it with the SD810 that sat inside my LG G Flex 2, it is a good gaming SoC on that department. Makes me wonder why everybody is hammering on Mediatek SoCs and not on Qualcomm. In any case, one can buy the RN8P without a problem, on the SoC department.
Meanwhile have been using the phone with MIUI 11 for several weeks now and haven't noticed any strange battery drain. The phone can remain on standby as easily as my Mi Max 2 could with both MIUI 10 and 11.

I had the note 7 and the 8 Pro is noticeably smoother and quicker. It also has NFC which I missed on the 7.
It is a good upgrade.

Thats what i observed fro... moreThis thing is seriously confusing, cos u people are bragging that xiaomi is far better then techno but my techno l8 plus don't drain battery even if the data network is on. Why are u people so impress with such device that can drain battery even in an idle position. I don't seems to understand that.

Hey guys, this Note 8 pro mobile handset is not receiving the SMS from the Jio network in India. The service center is also helpless on this issue and suggesting about some further updates of MIUI to resolve this issue. Is there any guy who face this problem and get rid from this?

Thats what i observed fro... moreNope, the thing is that phone will drain the battery eventhough it's not connected to mobile data. In which the network is on idle. For sure this behavior is not normal on any cases. My explanation is on below.

Dedy Fernandes, 06 Dec 2019Hii , I'm using this phone for almost 6 week.i have noticed a biggest issue is the battery li... moreI do knowing this issue hence always put the network connection off when unused. The problem is not solely with data connection, but even when the network is on idle. The issue is on MIUI 11 (MIUI 10 don't have this issue). Looking back that the issue also presence on Mi9T, somebody said that the network hardware searching all enabled bands while its not existing in the current area/country. The current solution would be manipulating the network setting and select only used bands in Engineer Mode (*#*#3646633#*#*), but DIWYOR. Until OS update is provided. Hope it would chime the bell.
