I still have this phone as of October 2019. I've been using the Pixel Experience ROM with GCAM for 2 years and it's still a beast. I think I've done ~1000 charging cycles and the battery is still in good condition. But I'm thinking of changing to something more modern (oled, higher display refresh rate, 5G, wireless charging, 4K60 recording) I have two options - a used Pixel 8 Pro or Xiaomi 13t Pro (but I've heard the hyper os is not very well optimized). Which phone should I buy?

Although I have already upgraded to Redmi Turbo 3, I would say redmi note 8 pro is still the best phone I have ever purchased.
High performance midrange phone back in 2020/2021. And still performs well today. Never let me down for 4 1/2 years of usage. Totally worth every cent. Still a reliable back up phone.

hero bright, 07 Oct 2024how do you guys rate the camera quality especially taking pictures at night? does the battery... morethe quality of taking pictures at night isn't bad, for the heat and battery it depends on YOU if you do gaming the phone will heat up and use battery more if it's just basic use like YouTube, TikTok, browsing or FaceBook it won't heat up and use less battery. Well if you don't live under a rock you probably haven't posted a comment

Simply amazing budget phone! I have this for 4 years now and it's pretty good! the only complain I have is the bad camera, I was taking video at night and could barely see anything and a friend of mine with a Galaxy S24 Ultra (yes I know it's high end) could see everything super clearly which made me jealous lol.
anyway I also want to point out that these Antutu scores are outdated, I tried Antutu 10.3.4 on my phone and I got a score of 359.888 😁

Any UK users not able to make calls since recent days? I'm in the Southwest (Yeovil) and I can't make or receive calls now. I read something about 3G switch off and it might affect the network (I'm on ID mobile, who use 3 network).
Something was mentioned about band 20, which the phone doesn't have?
Any advice appreciated
