After downloading antutu benchmark on my RN8 pro.. While installing it shows blocked by play protect. Can i go ahead and install it anyway?

And talking about Updates, my Redmi Note 8 Pro has gone through numerous Updates/Upgrade. I started with Android 9 and MIUI 10/11. My phone is presently on Android 10, MIUI 12.0.5. And, by the Grace of God, Redmi Note 8 Pro will get Android 11, MIUI 12.5, and even MIUI 13.
All these critisms are getting me pissed off. No point creating problems that are not there!

I've been using a Redmi Note 8 Pro 6GB/128GB since January last year (2020).
The Phone is powerful, in all ramifications. I'm not experiencing any of these problems you guys are enumerating.
As far as I'm concerned, the Phone is a Masterpiece!
Honestly, the difference between this phone and Redmi Note 9 Pro is rather infinitesimal.

The Boy with Red Hat, 20 Jan 2021No phone in this price is waterproof thats why Premium Phones existsi email xiaomi singapore, they say only lazada set got warranty. So those buy from shopee global no warranty. Anyway water damage no warranty so have to live with the left led burn out of 7 leds and a few water stain. i notice the lcd display of this phone is darker than my redmi 4a on the same brightness settings, maybe that's why they sell its at S$189 on 11.11. the wifi also connect slowly not like my redmi 4a which use qualcomm processor. i would probably buy the cheapest redmi phone in future as i notice the performance for day to day web browsing and youtube to be similar to redmi 4a. the best thing about the redmi 4a is you can open the back of the phone easily but this phone you have to use heat to open it up and cannot put back together after opening it. xiaomi should make phones with removable batteries so at least i can remove the battery when it drop into the water :(

There is no antialiasing when i play games. Even with enabled the force msaa 4x in developer options and still no antialiasing!?
Does anyone knows what might be the problem?

Euhh , guys i realky need help asap. My redmi note 8 pro is draining battery so fast. And when playing pubg , it is mot smooth at all , facing laggs. And processor is heating tooooo much when playing pubg , this was not happening before and on other uses. Is my note 8 pro bad? .

Edwinn, 02 Jan 2021Please which is better this or Redmi note 9s please don't ignore Rn8pro is a better choice, cheaper and aggressive, but the cons is, it has a lesser dev support. Not optimize. But i hope in the future that it will be optimize.

The Helio G90T is one of the best midrange chipsets despite it being 1 or 2 years old. It still holds up to this day and gaming performance is good on the Note 8 Pro. But if you add more, you can get the Note 9S. It has a Snapdragon 720G which is more optimized than the G90T.
