I have a problem with my phone, it crashes on some apps and games when I open them. I tried to factory reset the phone but the problem persisted. Today I received a security patch update. That could solve app crashing issue?

I bought Note 8 pro last November.
And there’s nothing showing up on display last September, dun know why?
When I took it to the local xiaomi brand shop, they told me to change the screen it will cost around $ 55.

May I ask for an advice:
First of all the short story - both me and my girlfiend got Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro (global) version a few days ago as it was very cheap and we are not some phone fans so it works perfect for us. While updating the phone and setting up everything I noticed that my phone updated to MiUI 12.0.3, while her phone updated to miUI 12.0.1. Both versions are pointed as stable. Both were updated via Settings -> Abut phone(check for system updates etc.)
Why her phone is not getting the newer version MiUI 12.0.3 when I press "Check for updates". Both phone have same settings.
Should I go to the seller to ask for a replacement of the phone, or there might m something I am missing out.

I updated my Xiaomi to the latest update,which is Miui 12.....other functions are very cool but i noticed my camera quality reduced especially the portrait... it's rubbish now unlike the previous which was neat and the background are well blurred and it's not touching the main object

The screen panel is good, big screen vibrant colours but it takes 5.20 hours to charge and they claim that it has 18v quick charge. It seems Redmi mobiles have overheating issues as well

This is an amazing phone. It's perfect for me. I don't face any annoying issue with it, except its weight and thickness.
