Redmi Note 8 pro is one of the best phone I have owned, since buying it in last December 2019.
It works well and I have not recorded any issue except for the camera which I later understood it usage; knowing when to switch between the 4 rear camera for the required picture shot.
Battery is lovely even after doing the Android 10 upgrade it's being better than any other device I may have used Samsung A51, A6plus, Sony Xperia Z models etc.
RN8P is way way better considering its price too.

AESCHYLUS, 28 Jul 2020is this phone still worth in 2021?If you can get it in a great deal it's well worth it, it's fast enough not to be obsolete in the next couple of years, time at which it will finally make sense to get a 5g phone.
Said that as with most xiaomi phones you will have to deal with some nags and bugs, nothing serious but still you will have to take some time to work on them.

Once it's enabled, the phone will start to check whether you're doing an edge gesture or just tapping. Make sure that your thumb does not overlap the edge of the screen, tap a button on its center not the nearest edge.

I had been using the Redmi Note 8 pro for the last few months and have recently noticed some issues. I have made a video on these and it's link is attached below.
The first issue is the touch issue on Redmi Note 8 Pro, which I had noticed quite unexpectedly. Redmi Note 8 Pro display is sometimes unresponsive along the edges of the screen. I had thought that this touch problem would be a bug or defect on my device, but came to know that a lot of people have experienced this too. This might be due to the cheap quality touch digitalizer used by Xiaomi on this phone.

Anonymous, 25 Jul 2020Why my runnig pubg certainly off,,? Dont by this phone for pubg,,, I've played PUBG Mobile today for hours on Smooth and Extreme and everything went flawless. The HDR and Ultra is stuck at 40-45 fps that why I keep it on Smooth and Extreme, because I prefer the smoothness slightly better graphics over HDR.
