I was also getting 10 hts SoT on Android 9 but now 8 it decreased to 8hrs SoT after Android 10.
I'm a bit sad why it is like this. Android updates must enhance battery life not decrease it.
My phone was on 90% last night, when i woke up phone standby took around 11% battery. No gps or bluetooth was on.

Camera on this phone can't be used after a while, photos can't be saved, the phone must be rebooted before use camera. Re setting phone or.....?

Daniel, 05 Jul 2020No sir... It will crash your device. Wait for the main updateDaniel, I updated it to Android 10 today. Luckily it didn't crashed.
I had a gut feeling that this update will not be as good and smooth as Android 9 & yes i was right. There is a slight change in the smoothness & fluidity of the phone. Also, battery backup has decreased a bit.
What improved is RAM management & i was facing frequent crashes with some apps(news) in Android 9 which i believe Android 10 solved it.
I updated this because MIUI12 may arrive sooner or later. Which i think is more compatible with Android 10. I hope company restore the fluidity of the phone back & enhance battery backup like Android 9.
If not, I'll become sad by seeing my device not being calibrated with it's actual capability. And i will then save more and buy OnePlus in future.

i regret buying this phone... WiFi is so weak, other devices connected but not this device. watching YouTube using TWS will significantly degrade wireless connection, it will disconnect and reconnect to network several times, i end up using my iPhone for that task. Xiaomi is so cheap that they use very cheap wifi hardware on its devices.
