Samsam, 16 Jul 2020Hey guys !
I hesitate between the P30 and the RN8 PRO
I have a friend who owns the P30 and t... moreThere is no camera stabilization on RN8 Pro, but the camera is quite good. I doubt it could compete with P30, though.
Even though they perform great, both phones are kinda old now and I would highly recommend you to purchase a more recent device.
MarcoPolo, 16 Jul 2020I kinda use it to play PoGO but not really. I'm not playing that anymore, I almost never ... moreI would still go for the RN8P because the screen is only 0.04 inches smaller than the RN9S' one and well... The RN8P has better main camera, the rest of the cameras are the same, I'm 99% sure. The battery is slightly better on the 9S but the display is 50-100 nits weaker than the 8P one's. I mean the brightness. And well that's 1/9-1/5 of the total brightness. More brightness = better. The 9S would get one more year of updates but still wouldn't be better overall. I think I forgot something that 8P is better at but I'm not sure. Oh and yeah I almost forgot. If you hate MediaTek, go for the 9S. If you don't care about that, the same as I don't care, go for the 8P.
Devil, 16 Jul 2020RN8PRO still have the GPS issue after the last updates ? I'm looking for a new smartp... moreI kinda use it to play PoGO but not really. I'm not playing that anymore, I almost never play it despises going daily / almost daily outside. I will try that with maximum brightness tomorrow and I will tell you how hot it got, not in degrees bcz those are useless bcz no temperature sensor. Keep in mind that 100% brightness will drain the battery way more. And well the game is pretty good overall but as I said I don't really play it a lot so I will try it tomorrow for a few hours straight.

This phone has only got EIS and that phone, *99% sure* it has OIS. This phone has 0 stabilization on 4K. I will post a link tomorrow / in two days while going 4K while walking, running and going on my bike.
Hey guys !
I hesitate between the P30 and the RN8 PRO
I have a friend who owns the P30 and the 4k video is impressive.
Is there a camera stabilizer for the RN8 4K?
Anyone ever compare these two phones?
Thanks a lot
kun kun, 16 Jul 2020Yep, no problem using that charger fir charging your phone.I asked that because someone told me that the battery will deteriorate over time if i charge the phone with a 25w charger.

Zen, 15 Jul 2020So there is no way to fix it? None. Widevine provide encryption for playback. Your TV might not be up for that.

Hi all,
Considering getting either Redmi Note 8 Pro or Mi Note 10 Lite. I am leaning towards Note 8 Pro because it is much cheaper and as a light user, find it hard to justify paying extra for the Note 10 Lite. My only concern is with the reported heat issue on this phone. I don't game much and will use the phone mainly for watching videos, will the phone get too hot for comfort? Need some answers. Thanks.
xSavagex, 15 Jul 2020I just bought this phone. Is there any problem or the phone could be damaged if i'll char... moreNo there is no problem in charging it with 25w charger. It will only charge the phone fast if it supports fast charging.
I tried to charge my RN8PRO with OnePlus 6T's charger. But MI Original charger seem to charge the phone much faster as it supports fast charging, which OnePlus didn't. Compatibility issue thats it.

This is how i fixed my RN8PRO battery draining issues, and it worked for me. I had battery issues after upgrading to Android 10, my SoT got as low as 7hrs but after following certain YouTube videos & XDA website im now getting 11hrs of SoT as it was before. Hope this works for you too. Here's what i did:
I cannot share direct link of XDA as it may not be in policy of GSMArena, I think. Don't get flowed by negative comments for this procedure & just do it.
Main Thing :
I used ''XiaomiADBFastbootTools''(ADB Uninstaller) to uninstall the following default bloatware installed on my phone. Such as..
Analytics
Android Accessibility suite
app vault
browser
calander
catchlog
compass
digital wellbeing
downloads
FM Radio
facebook
feedback
freeform
games
google app
google lens
joyose
MSA (It is a junk ad application, remove ASAP!)
Market feedback agent
mi browser
mi credit
mi drop
mi pay
mi video
mi wallpaper
miuiDaemon
Music
PAI
PartnerBookmarks
Quick Apps
Quick Ball
Scanner
WMServices
Weather
Uninstall all these without any second thought. My phone is working much better after uninstalling all these pre installed apps. After doing this, i saw sudden increase in my battery efficiency be it battery backup or SoT.
During testing i got two days of battery backup & around 10hrs of SoT from 90% charge to 5% charge. And now from 100% charge to currently I'm at 60% with SoT of exactly 6hrs 42min.
OMG i wish i would have shared Screenshots here.
Secondary things i did was:
- Enabled Dark Mode
- Disabled Auto Start option for all apps
- In battery settings, i enabled 'clear cache when device is locked - upto 5 minutes'
- Using Nova Launcher (Prime) - APK Downloaded
- Force stopped apps which i don't use frequently such as Facebook.
- Using Firefox as my default browser.
- Restricted background app activity.
Hope this helps :)
I just bought this phone. Is there any problem or the phone could be damaged if i'll charge it with my Galaxy A70 25w charger?
