What u have to do to reduce the heat is; Apply normal setting, play games on normal graphics. High settings can wear out your processors without realizing it. Remove your phone from the pouch when gaming to allow release of heat.

dont believe any good review about this phone its has too much issues and heat is abig problem with all mtk shit optimization is weak in note 8 pro and software devellopment support from xiaomi we all know it it sucks they only has one intersent pushing new phones to the market if u are a hardcore gamer gaming hours dont buy this phone even if it goes extreme in pubg but problems will overcome that at the end dont buy mtk phones at all

I bought Redmi Note 8 Pro about 3 months back and facing lot of issues while operating. While purchasing I saw reviews of this phone but to my surprise when I purchased this phone is not so good, the camera quality is average , screen resolution is ok but not good, lot of technical problems in the phone, the inbuilt features of gallery is not attractive, you cannot see all photos in gallery in view pane mode, accordingly feedback was given to Mi support team but no actions taken by them. speaker sound is very low. I regret buying this phone. However I did lot of research on phone thought this will add value for money but it failed.

Lence, 08 Jun 2020I have global version, and after upgrading to Android 10, my Wi-Fi speed is significantly slower. They should fix in a future update that happens after an update. Wait like a month, if they don't fix, send complain or bug report.

Scythor, 08 Jun 2020The phone runs far better if it has 128 GB instead of having 64 GB?It's the same thing, just double the storage. The 128 GB version can get 8 GB ram instead of 6 GB ram the 64 GB and even the 128 GB has.
