Most of the spps are now currently only available for Android 5.0 or above.... moreI speak of those that complaint to have any single update, people get an Android phone and just for that cant live without the next update, even if the phone is fully capable of work fine, they insist in have something that guarantee next Android version.
Mainly people use phones for Social Media, Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter and so on works fine on Android 5.0, but, If some cant get the latest update feels like the phone is trash and feels betrayed hehehe
Redmi Note 8 Pro have Android 10 in many markets, but they feels like the phone is useless if they dont have that update

The phone is too heavy and also very slippery
--- Buy an extra Case $ 2.99 dlls (Cheapo from eBay)
Adding to the frustration of holding the phone upright for extended periods of time.
Sometimes it would just blank out unexpectedly.
--- Weird I have mine since cames out and never experienced something like that, go for you Warranty maybe you got a Lemon.
This phone is just overhyped and frustrating to use

If anyone is eyeballing to buy this phone, buy it from India. the Indian versions have dedicated microSD slots so you can use both of your sim cards while having the SD card, the global or Chinese version do not have a dedicated SD slot, it will be a hybrid. go search amazon india.

Youtube does this, google does it, almost everyone does this it's for personalisied ads and recommendations that's why it takes your IMEI and Device ID. Also if you are still worried just don't use the default browser, all of em come with chrome installed.

Look wise very good. Problem in software. Automatic closes some application. Settings don't work properly. Camera is worst. Battery is ok.

The handnset looks better than it really is. The design is really really good and unique. when I look at it I feel like better hardwares could be packed inside it. Still not bad but if you talk bout looks and colour only, then yes its a flagship. ultra unique design.

Good phone but two of the back cameras are only for namesake. Top most one and the one with the flash light.

Although it has a great camera and good battery life with no over heating. It charges quite quickly as well.

My headphone jack problem got solved, in a funny way. I slowly got angry and tried to bend phone at bottom area of phone :P
It started working after that :)

My headphone jack is malfunctioning. Only right side of earphone is working not the left one. It was working fine yesterday.
I tried to clean the jack with cotton. But didn't get any result. Is there any solution or i have to shed another few bucks in repairing?
