Koushik, 30 Dec 2022Just install Android 13 PixelExperience plus its buttery smooth. How i can do that ?
Still Rocket
i have been using this phone since november 2019 and its been a solid experience. the performance is still great after using it for 3 years, however the last android update this phone got is android 11, and yes you can install android 13 on it, but i am not willing to take any risks, and the camera(s) are eh-ish.
I used it for some time, and what some reviewers cited as a disadvantage, the "outdated" Android 9.0, was actually beneficial.
Many applications would not work on Google's new crippled storage access, so having the older, pre-crippled Android version was beneficial.

It would be fine without a wide-angle and macro camera. Because they're pretty bad. The depth camera is also questionable.
The cost of these cameras could have been replaced by stereo speakers.
The only notable camera on the Note 8 Pro is the 64 mp sensor. And it just shines with Google Camera.

Sunmog, 05 Dec 2022Guys do you suggest i should get note 9 pro or this? Pls i need an answerI would say neither. Get the redmi note 11t pro if it is in your budget.
Sorry to hear about that. Got mine late 2019, in March 2020 it got submerged in a river for a prolonged period and the headphone jack stopped working but phone was still going strong. The battery gave out in January 2022 and I finally replaced the battery as well as the headphone jack for cheap on aliexpress. This thing is my daily driver but I must admit the redmi note 11t pro looks very promising.
I had it for 5 days.
6 ram 128 internal storage.
The mediatek cpu is bad lags so lot and offten.
Camera not so good at all.
Sorry but worthless.
It's near end of 2022 and my unit is still going stronk! (Mine is 128GB/6GB variant).
Xiaomi hasn't rolled up any security update, which is regrettable. But fear not, aftermarket Android is out there!
Yea, i think it's worth it
